Praise for local hospital

To the Editor:

I want to take the opportunity to thank the excellent staff at our hometown medical facility, Tennova Healthcare-Shelbyville, for a really positive experience during my recent medical procedure there. With Dr. Monajjem handling the surgery and Dr. Sherill handling the anesthesia, and the very kind, very professional care by the nursing staff, I felt I was in excellent hands. The place was spotless, modern and very comfortable. I am grateful that we have this facility in our town, so we do not have to go further afield for quality health care; I was very impressed and this facility will be my first choice for health care in the future.

  • I totally agree with the complimentary letter regarding the local hospital.. My family has used the hospital on several occasions. That includes everything from broken limbs, various surgeries and sudden deaths. We have always been pleased with the treatment we've received and find it hard to understand why there is always so much negative feedback.
