Trump accused of corruption

To the Editor:

The Trump people who write to the Times Gazette love to blame liberals for every problem there is in this country. They never once will admit that Donald Trump and his cronies have done more damage to America than the liberals have ever done.

We have learned that "Shakedown" Trump has pressured Ukraine's president to dig up dirt on Joe Biden or else Trump would withhold promised aid to that country. This is action one would expect from a mob boss instead of the president of the United States. Names in the whistleblower complaint indicate several others in the administration took part in either the activity or the cover up. Attorney General Bill Barr did not follow procedure specifically as required in handling the whistleblower complaint.

We should not be surprised in Trump since he overtly asked Russia for help in the 2016 election and he got it. We will never know whether Russia got him elected or not but we do know Trump is corrupt. Trump plays by no rules except his own and he has no moral or ethical barrier.

Trump has also been violating the emolument clause of the Constitution ever since he took office. Foreign dignitaries feel pressure to stay in his hotels to get favors from him and we have learned he has forced the military to stay at his property in Scotland. Almost every weekend Trump goes to one of his properties and the American taxpayer is billed for the cost of rooms, meals, golf fees, golf carts, room service and travel expense. He costs us millions every time he takes days off.

Trump loves dictators like Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, and "bone saw" Mohammed Bin Salman. He had rather be with the three of them than with our allies. The man has no limits to what he will do.

Wake up, people, and see that we are being ripped off by this con man. It is time to drain the swamp and get this snake out of the White House.
