“With the spread of COVID-19, breaking news and announcements have been coming at us at an accelerated rate,” Duck River Electric Membership Corporation (DREMC) President and CEO Scott Spence said. “Life as we know it has been altered, and our sense of normalcy has been disrupted.

“At DREMC, we want our members to know we are here for you during this trying time. Our focus continues to be providing our members with the outstanding service they deserve.”

DREMC has established measures to protect employees, members and their families.

•Lobby walk-in traffic has been temporarily suspended.

•Drive through hours have been extended in most locations.

•Fast, free payment options are encouraged by using DREMC’s mobile app, online payment portal at www.dremc.com or by calling any office.

Additionally, DREMC employees including electric crews have been requested to maintain 6 feet of distance between all persons.
