Eaglettes canít hold 1st half lead

Shelbyville Centralís Golden Eaglette soccer team blew a halftime lead in a 4-3 loss to visiting Tullahoma on Monday night in a non-district match.

Senior Cheyenne Watson found the back of the net twice in the first half to give the Eaglettes (1-1) a 2-0 advantage at halftime.

Tullahoma made the most of three penalty kicks, then added another goal in the second half to go up 4-2 before Sharaid Palmeros added a goal for Shelbyville Central.

The Eaglettes had a couple of scoring changed late in the game but just couldnít find the equalizer.

Katy Champion scored two goals for the Lady Wildcats with Anna Parker and Amy Johnson each adding a goal.

The Eaglettes host Coffee County on Thursday night at 7 p.m. in a District 8-AAA match.
