If you don’t like it, don’t read it
To the editor,
I believe the First Amendment of the Constitution says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or the press; or the right of people to assemble, and to petition the Government for redress of grievances.” That is not “hot air” Mr. Brown.
Writing an OP-ED is a form of free speech. No one forces you to read the opinion page. You have a choice to read the opinion page or not.
There are so many people who believe every word the mainstream media print. My goal is to challenge folks to do some research on their own and become critical thinkers.
The newspaper decides which OP-EDs they publish and the caption they add.
