Shelbyville-Bedford County Public Library is hosting a book sale through Saturday at the back of the facility on South Jefferson Street. While the outdoor sale under the tent is dependent on weather, library officials note there are plenty of books so they’re hoping residents will turn out for awhile to browse. There are several procedures currently, due to COVID-19, regarding lib ray use, so please pay attention to signs and look for instructions online at sbcplibrary.org. Library volunteer Rosemary Holtz was busy putting out books Friday during the fall sale, where patrons can get everything from cookbooks to detective novels at a real bargain price. There are “A LOT” of books, library representatives said Friday.
