  • Thirty percent chance of rain sure turned out to be a long 30% this weekend. I had to get some more wood in from the woods so finally Deb and I went out this afternoon and loaded the trailer.

We knew it would be a little muddy on the way back up, but rain came and made everything just that much more slick, so we had to use the tractor again to get truck and trailer back out. It worked, so all is well on the hill.

I just HAD to watch the Denver/Pittsburgh game tonight. Tim Tebow proved a lot of "talking heads" wrong this season and I loved it. What a great finish, although I would not have minded them staying ahead the rest of the game.

I have a lot on my plate this week, so I may not be able to blog much, just in case someone writes and I don't get back quickly.

I had a friend write to ask if I was OK since my original post above was riddled with grammatical errors of all types. Yes, I am doing fine, just wrote that with no double-check and the usual thumbs.

  • Aah, PITA. What is a blog without her?

In preparation of the newest rain we put new plastic on the wood we have in the trailer. It was tucked in real nice and neat.

An hour or so later Deb thought it looked like it had been moved. I went out to check it out and sure enough it looked moved and had some holes chewed in it.

Of course, PITA had an angelic face and acted as if all was well, EXCEPT for the piece of plastic still sticking to her lips! A small 1" piece had stuck to the side of her mouth and all the doubt was gone.
