  • It is interesting that the Federal Government wants us to all have affordable access to the internet, but they seem to have forgotten that the computer needs electricity to work so....

  • It cost more these days for things you have to have like electricity, water, cooling or heat (especially if your elderly or have a medical issue) then some people make. The quality of life has deteriorated to the point that no one can go anywhere, buy anything extra (including meat to eat) or even upgrade their home surroundings even if they work 2 jobs or are married, and their spouse or partner works just to maintain what they have. I have to even be diligent and watch any entity trying to add to my monthly expences.

I found light bulbs, of all things on-line cheaper with free shipping so I ordered a box...not realizing I had to uncheck a box on the order form to keep from joining their $9.99 a month club which debits your account and that was a total nightmare to stop and I am still waiting on the refund...if you have ever tried to order Pro-Active skin stuff you know what I went through.

It's rather depressing these days to be bombarded with endless advertising, knowing you can not afford anything if you want to eat too.

For those of us that have medical conditions that require transportation and medications it gets even harder. Maybe I am just a winey snit, but at the end of the month after paying what I have to pay just to be alive, it's heart-wrenching...some day I am in hopes that our leaders will have that reality check that the "quality of life" goes further then their greed and in your face mentality and makes for a happier, more productive, less aggravating, community. They should be more aware and look at lowering and fighting for our quality of living and lowering our utility bills. At the least so I can afford fresh foods instead of cheap processed junk I eat in the dark now...but that's another whole ballgame in itself.
