  • The adjusted script played out as expected, except I never got to the garden. Instead, it was still predominately firewood. By 5:00 PM I was ready to call it quits and what a coincidence, there was a football game on. :-)

  • Maybe you could give a kid a job for a day and get it all done as a multi-tasking supervisor, I've sure thought about it myself. I overheard a young man the other day saying he had to work at something a few hours to get his girlfriend a Christmas present. A person of that caliber might be hard to find these days, but if the right scenario can be found, it's a double blessing. You get the things done you need to do and they get, help with their needs. I know a young lady that helps clean at a minimum pay, just to buy diapers! I barter cheesecakes for a little help on occasion, that works out real well I hate laundry.

  • I have a great idea for giving young people 17 and older an opportunity to make some money. Actually, it is a combination of ideas, but they all go together.

Probably the biggest thing holding me back is the legal side of things. Oh no, it is legal but when you work people you have to have workman's comp and other insurance to cover this crazy litigious world. It is the one side of business I would love to ignore, but the side one CANNOT ignore.

Oh well, all the wood is cut for the week. Now I get to split and stack it but I do that during lunchtime as a break from looking at these computer screens. I guess I have about 3 cords but I need another 1-2 to feel safe.

Of course, I have gas backup, but that costs money. gives no exercise and is boring to write about, so I keep cutting. Cutting is boring to to some, but I still get the exercise, it is abundant and costs are minimal.

  • I kept feeling like I am late in planting my garlic, and I probably am but I just checked my notes and realized that my successful garlic harvest of this year was nbot planted until November 30th last year.

    I am actually on time!
