  • For me Friday the 24th is good or did we set the date for the first meeting this year already, I may be corn-fused a little...I'm thinking I will make an eggplant dish, since we have been talking about it.

  • This one will not actually be the first regular meeting. Instead it is for planning the year, setting a calendar, setting topics and determining frequency of meetings.

I was thinking the dates for the first real meeting suggested to be the last Friday in February or the first Friday of March. Of course, that could change in the planning meeting.

Even if someone has never attended the first meeting, you are welcome to come to any, even the planning meeting. We want to hear you ideas on what is on your mind.

  • In case you wanted to calculate what plants you need to start indoors and when, here is a chart to help. http://www.rareseeds.com/resources/planting-guide/

I used to use tax day as the average last frost but noticed that it seems to have moved out a little further in the past few years. The average now seems to be April 25th.

  • Sounds like I have some time...that's good...If anyone wants to use those seed catalogs I have, just holler.

  • I wonder if our Executive Director of Communications is reading this?

  • I will definitely try to attend the organizing meeting; just say when.

Sometimes I'm away from the web and Email for several days at a time; so a little advance notice is best.

  • Well, it may have been too early to get the gardening blood going. Only a few of us have responded, so we will try again later.

  • Boy, when I am not on the web everyday my emails back up to the point that it is no fun to get back on.
