  • There should be a national group against showing reruns on TV... Am I the only one that thought this was the new season start of "America's got Talent", when they have showed nothing but the audition reruns over and over again?...over a million or so are crying about it on their social media pages. What's up with that! Are we seriously paying on average a 100 bucks a month for bad programming and 6 hrs daily of the same newscast at 30min. intervales...is there any good news or just weather, wrecks and Nashville shootings...I do like cheese with my whine!

Speaking of cheese and wine...Anyone going, or making chili for those two chili cook-offs this weekend on the square?....I like mine pleasantly spicy hot with real chunks of beef, don't mind the beans......got crackers?

  • Chefgrape............Seriously, shouldn't you be the one making chili ? If I had an oven I could make that red cornbread to go with it... YUM

Can't join the conversation about cable......

  • I for one get tired of the same old dribble. People are passionate about politics, money, and religion. If you want more bloggers/arguers then those are your topics. People by our age are already set in their ways and will not change unless forced. No amount of logic or persuasion is going to make a difference but it does make a long list of posts.

If you want useful information, then a forum on gardening would be much more beneficial. The way our country is going gardening may be the only thing that will be able to put food on the table. At least when we get to that level if you don't work you don't eat.

  • Palindrome if we had of planned ahead we might have teamed up and won a chili cook-off or two...I got the oven you could use for that cornbread and I make a pretty mean chili....Those other entries wouldn't have a chance.....that's a chili thought. lol

  • Myself, I kind of wonder where the creativity disappeared to in the re-run laced movie and entertainment industry. Why do the story tellers have to resort to enhancing and re-marketing everything from Godzilla to Planet of the Apes to fairy tales of all sorts?

  • I left town for a few days and upon my return I expected to find the yellow squash covered in bugs and hit hard by the borer. Nope, but I did lose a Bolivian pepper plant, most of a bell pepper plant and most of a Black Cherry tomato to the horned tomato caterpillar. Not yours Palindrome, yours have not been touched. Hmmm?

I could not find the perpetrator eating my peppers but I found three juicy ones on the tomato. They are now fending for themselves elsewhere. I had hoped the trichogama wasp would have layed eggs but they are nowhere to be found. The cold winter?

  • $$$$$

    $upply and demand....

Betting on the formulas that have been proven to work......

    $ad.......

When a movie is distributed that I want to see.......It is rarely shown in the theaters locally.... In the over four years I have lived in the area I have been to the theater twice....... It's not that I don't try.

Time was in the industry a movie that made a decent profit after the full run was considered a success........Now if the cost s and profits are not recaptured in the first week-end the movie is considered a failure....... That really limits variety....Mediocrity to the masses....
