It's TODAY! Above freezing and daylight savings time!

First daffodil of 2015 3 days after single digit temps

I'm so excited I may even keep today for tomorrow too!

Just two degrees to go and it is above freezing, yeah!

The sown jugs are on the way out the door, never to return. Now I just need to make sure the dogs don't get too curios. I bought some chicken wire for that.

Speaking of chicken wire, yikes! I have not bought any in a while but it may be the new precious metal. Priced it lately?

  • I am also excited to see the warm weather and the extra hour of daylight after work means I can get more done around home.

    I wish they would leave us on daylight savings time year round.

  • The extra hour sure helped yesterday afternoon and thank God for a beautiful weekend. Sloughing the mud wasn't much fun and waking, very much in the dark, this morning isn't either.

    However, the promise of an extra hour of light this afternoon, even in the rain, is certainly something to look forward to.
