Middle Tennessee Plant Swap Saturday May 16th
This should be a great one folks, so if you have never gone (surprisingly, that includes me) we really should go. I follow the Facebook page and see all the chatter about what people want or what they are bringing, but don't let it stop you if you have nothing.
The only thing I have not given away yet are more seeds for the giant banana squash and the cushaw. My plants are either in the ground, bales, planters or someone else's garden.
If I do get to go, it will be to mix with all the like-minded gardeners and meet some of the personalities I have talked with on Facebook. Near the end, things will be on a free table, I am told, so coming late might be good if you would like to pick up some unique plants.
It starts at 9:00 and here is a link to their web page. http://www.midtnplantswap.com/ I know some locals are going so if you need a ride, it might be a good time to catch up with some of your gardening buddies to see if they are going.
You could also join the Facebook discussion here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/64785223352/ Right now there is a good list of somethings to pay attention to to avoid getting off on the wrong foot.
Here is a good directions page. http://www.midtnplantswap.com/Directions/directions.html
