Mommy and Wendy BEFORE the terror spree!
I don't know if squirrelly is really a word, but they usually move around a lot, jump and get into trouble. That is what our cats are doing.
We've seen the dogs (and coyotes) affected by the moon and maybe the cats are too but this has been going on for weeks. We wake up in the middle of the night to all kinds of bumps, thumps, bangs, etc. and in the morning we would swear someone has ransacked the house.
Not just light things or things they can push against to knock off. Yesterday Deb found a stapler had been moved off her sewing table and placed on a book shelf about 18" away. That took some force.
A cat that has not climbed since birth, and he is about 2 years old now, is now climbing, and worse yet, he does not know how to jump down without knocking pictures off the walls or landing straight on my chest in the middle of the night,
Now, he looks as surprised as I am to find he has jumped on my chest from about 8 feet up, but it really plays havoc with my sleeping!!
During the day they appear to be normal but by 10-11 P.M. they are going full force! Something has got to give here.
