  • HorsePoopPerson, might your friend who like bitter melon like some lemon grass? I have a pot that needs to be coming inside soon and I can divide it at the meeting to share with anyone interested.

  • Steve,

I just want to thank you for being so diligent in posting to your blog! It is refreshing to see something new on here . . .

  • Thank you bbbluebird. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and open up new topics since many of our fellow bloggers have gone silent.

Some topics get a little "touchy", but if it stays relatively civil, I try to keep the post going.

It is nice to know that someone notices. I know there are a lot of "readers only", but it hearing from someone else is encouraging.

  • I'm so disappointed that I will not be able to make it to this weeks meeting.

It will be the first one missed since committing to such wonderful folks!

Every time I have attended one I have left with something new and informative concerning gardening and how others enjoy it so...From sharing tips and rid-bits and seeds, to what's new, strange, or unique growing in our garden spots.

I will be forever grateful for the kindness and caring we all share with each other! Don't worry though, I shall be back, bright eyed and bushy-tailed...that you can rely on!

  • Hmmm, a meeting without you is going to be strange. I hope all is well or will be.

I may hold back on that winter melon since you had expressed an interest in trying one. If other were counting on it this week, let me know.

Just cooked some bush beans harvested this week. Not the pod but the seeds. Made a great pot of beans that became breakfast instead of eggs.
