  • We have something like 15+ kittens ranging from 4-8 weeks and after talking to several shelters I think we are going to have to keep them (in addition to our older cats) because the shelters are too full AND because they have to have shots, be tested for several communicable diseases and neutered before hey can accept them for adoption.

    If I can afford to do all that, I might as well keep them. Sooooo if you are lacking for some furry pals who give back as much love as you can give them, we have a solution.

    Four of a litter of seven are living on a sofa in our garage, are litter trained, eating on their own (although two still like to get special attention of milk delivered to their mouth). I would say in a baby bottle but they chewed through the rubber nipple quickly. I can see why mom encouraged them to leave the nest. :-0

    The other three are living under some wood skids that have bales of straw and plastic on top for dryness and warmth, outside. I've captured them twice and both times they slip back out of the garage to return to the skids. I can take a hint and they now get their meals, milk and water under the skids.
