  • A few plants look "touched" by the cold but overall all is still standing. Probably did not have to cover the cool weather crops.

  • I have to stand corrected. My fuzzy melon squash plants were almost totally wiped out. Did not see it the first night but maybe there was some frost on Sunday morning.

    It made finding the last few squash easy and there were a few flowers still in good shape but I doubt there are enough leaves to sustain any energy.

  • I forgot to mention that I observed leaves still healthy on vines that were off the ground. There must have been a cold wave creep along the ground, leaving the top air above freezing.

    My fig trees are still looking normal as well.
