Could this be one of the farmer's favorite tools?
Sitting at my desk a little while ago I heard shots coming from out back and somewhat close. We sit in the middle of our acreage and most of our neighbors do not allow hunting so it made me highly curious.
I had a choice to go walk the property but that is more challenging than it sounds since we have a hill farm. I have also wondered if I should go armed in case someone is argumentative or downright hostile.
Then it hit me! Evil Monkey, you said there were a lot of valid reason for having a drone and this would be one. I would only fly it over my property, no power lines but my own, no houses nearby to be worried about my violating their privacy AND I could answer my question about a trespasser.
Then, it hit me again! Most livestock farmers need to check on their livestock on a regular basis. Could this be a tool for them as well? If some cattle are missing, would you not be able to check from the air much faster than driving the fields?
If I am worried about coyotes near the house, would I not be able to find the pack and take appropriate measures rather than sit outside for hours to see if they come near the house? (As I have done)
How about a lost child, or pet? Where do I find out more about these things?
