PITA and Dottie sparring while Jack and Jill watch from the safety of my lap.
It is hard to find the words for all that puppies and an 9 month old dog can get into. At least nice words. LOL
But, as I watch them play outside, they seem to be molding as a family. NOT THAT THEY HAVE TO! Someone could always adopt the two pups. :-o
Dottie, Jack and Jill wear each other out and at first look they almost look like mother and her pups. Dottie sure is watching over them like she is mother, if not big sister.
PITA at first seemed to resent the puppies taking her new friend's attention but now I think she welcomes the break from endless wrestling matches. She now lays on the grass watching then she and Dottie go do their thing and the pups come into the greenhouse to rest.
This morning around 5:00 PITA and Dottie were doing battle (at least verbally) with intruders. I am guessing dogs or coyotes. I went out to lend moral support and a little fire power if necessary but the pups wisely stayed in the greenhouse.
I've seen them get out barking with anyone who comes up and at noises but they seem to know they are no match for whatever was out there this morning and stayed away. They could have easily been snatched and taken away, so all of us appreciated their absence.
