Alabama won the game but Clemson may have had the better team.

We could just give both teams a participation trophy! But Bama beat them fair and square so they deserve the winners trophy. And Clemson can spend tbe next year knowing that they are losers.

Same goes for Denver and Carolina.

  • The defenses ruled the game. Denver was able to capitalize on the turnovers and stop Carolina from doing the same.

I have been a Cam newton fan but was getting a little tired of his bravado and bringing race into a subject that had no basis. Hopefully this game has been a wake up call for him and he will mature from it.

He obviously does not take losing well, which in a way I admire. Pro ball has lost much of its' allure to me because of the lack of passion but I hope it does not define him.

Curious why he backed off the fumble? Did anyone learn if he thought it wasn't what it was?

  • By the way, I am pleased that Denver won. Mainly because of Peyton.

First time I EVER heard him mention his wife and family.

I'm glad Peyton won also--nice way to end a great career. Not sure why Cam backed off. Maybe he had already given up. He will no doubt

have more super bowl chances. I enjoy his enthusiasm to a point but he and all the others should stop the stupid dancing and acting like superman. High 5s, chest bumps and backslapping a little is ok but I wish they would act like they've been there before.
