Bedford Ramblings
Steve Mills

Does it help or hurt to have these two overlap?

  • There's a big difference in not only the music at each event but a difference in the people that attend from what I've seen. I'm sure there are folks who love all types of music genres but Bonnaroo has a lot of techno, rock, rap, and various newer music with heavy party people while CMA has country, beer, and a little Jack!

Personally I would probably enjoy either but not in the same week! It's the crowds and traffic that can be bothersome the people are normally super and easy going at either. I'd rather stay at home nowadays...If you are attending one of them, have fun and be safe!

Your right about the prices though...you can buy a case of Coke for the price of a single 20oz bottle at Bonnaroo according to my son who goes every year. He decided along with friends that usually go, that he would stay home this year to save some money...just 4 days at an event like that can cost a small fortune!
