  • Ooooh, nice rain last night, and cloudy this morning so it does not all evaporate. Maybe more on the way? Love it!

  • BY the way, I saw a honeybee in my yard this weekend and we had a long talk. More about this later.

  • Mmmmmmm doggie, we had a storm just now. Been a long time, so I had to check with a few neighbors but they thought it was a storm too!

We actually had a little rain run on top of the ground. I chased after it but a few lightnin' bolts changed my mind for me. Almost changed my pants too!

Little close but I think I like it!!!

  • It never ceases to amaze me how fast a horned tomato worm can grow and eat before I can get an eyeball on it. Rarely have I found one less than 3 inches long and I KNOW they were not born that way!

Then suddenly, or so it seems, they are 3-4" log and have eaten the top off your tomato plant. Of course, if there is one, you can bet there are more, so you search and search and IF you find it, it has been right next to your nose all along.

    AMAZING!

  • Going to bring some treats, as well as four Japanese cukes and enough okra for two meals. The okra is just coming in and we've had a meal but once it starts coming, whoa Nellie!
