  • Steve, there appears to be no answers. One might make the case we have those in authority who have more sympathy for the perpetrators than for the victims. I sincerely hope that is not the reality.

  • There is no way to be completely secure against someone who is willing to die to try to get you. Anyone who says differently is either foolishly naive or a liar with an agenda.

    Once again, this instance shows that banning "things" isn't the answer, as the imagination of terrorists can make nearly anything a formidable weapon.

    Letting people in your country, when part of their numbers have sworn to attack you, without very thorough vetting is incredibly stupid.

    Not all muslims are jihadis, but all jihadis are muslim. That seems to be an excellent starting point.

    Mike, that would be a very good starting point but we as a country are too stupid to understand and act on that. At least we are for the next 6 months.

  • The question on mind is how much more innocent lives have to be lost before we change our views and laws.War seems to be what they want.We've been fighting them since 9/11 and it's draining our military and distracting our attention from our problems.
