What a cute little kitty. She is such a doll!

  • She truly is a cutie.

Regrettably I found another of her siblings dead this morning. Cannot be sure if it was a wild animal or one of her own clan.

I am contemplating abducting the remaining kittens this evening. They usually come out for a little milk/formula. Just need to get the clearance from she who runs our home. :-)

If nothing else, I'll raise them until they are old enough to spay/neuter, then release them, although by then they are acclimated to people and would make great companions.

  • You would think a little bugger like Barbie would get lost having access to our whole home, but once she stayed one night in a bathroom with a heating pad as a bed, she always funds her way "home" for naps and bedtime.

The biggest thing we have to worry about is stepping on her. She scurries around so quickly and quietly that we HAVE TO shuffle and be ready to catch ourselves at a second's notice.

  • Good name. Some others slip out when we go tumbling. :-)

I know you have your quota, but always keep us in mind if anyone wants a cat. News on our latest adoption is real positive. I think she is breaking in the humans just right.

  • Oh happy day!

Barbie has been on antibiotics for the last 5 days because she was sick when Mom brought her to us. As with people, antibiotics can cause stomach irregularities so she was getting tired of it, as were we because of the resulting loose poo poo.

She has been off it a day and today was a successful trip to the litter box. Not sure how babies learn how to dig a hole, do their business and then cover it up, but she did it well.

Sound like a proud papa? Oh, the little things in life. :-)

  • By the way, if you are interested in adopting her but concerned that I would know who you are in relation to your T-G identity, just write to me directly and no one has to know. :-)

  • This girl REALLY needs to get weaned! She refuses to show interest in any food we offer and instead holds out for her baba. Yeesh

  • Barbie has just learned (from her cousins' Podfcccexample) how to climb my legs to get attention, and her bottle. I now HAVE TO get her weaned soon since I cannot ignore her.

She has had to remain on amoxicillin to keep her stuffed up nose from becoming a major issue. I think tomorrow we take a trip to the vet to see about changing meds.

With three kittens using me as their personal "Jungle Jim" I am going bonkers. I will either have to lock them away or lock myself in a room if I am to get much done.

They have somehow turned on a youtube video on my other laptop and Skype at the same time. I've learned what they do when they turn off my wifi but have no idea what they did to turn this other stuff on.

Barbie has settled in on the other laptop keyboard. Kittens always seem to like the warmth that comes from it. Oops! She just opened Acrobat Reader. No harm,but..... what's next?

One of my internet provides said I have been streaming video. I vehemently denied anyone doing it, but now I wonder. (No, not porn thank goodness)

  • Sorry about the Podfcccexample statement above. I just saw they made a few edits changes on the post before I put it up.Take off "Podfccc". :-0

OK, they are locked in the kitchen. Plenty of room to get into trouble and I have PEACE!
