A funny thing happens when I clean the cats' litter boxes.

The only thing I think when cleaning them is "I wish they would do it themselves".

  • LOL. That thought has slipped in there as well.

The only appreciation they show is to get in right after I clean it. Sometimes even while I am doing it.

If it happened ONLY when cleaning I would suspect I was just wanting to "escape" while doing the drudgery, but it happens while gardening as well.

What about people who stand on their heads during exercises? Anyone find their thought patterns change?

  • Today I went to a memory when my Mother took me to a Greek cafe to have a cup of sweet espresso.

Not sure of the reason we were in the city but I can almost remember the front of the tiny restaurant nestled among big buildings and the first surprise that it came in such a small cup, looked like tar, but tasted so different form any coffee I had ever tried.

Not that I was a coffee drinker at that time. I believe we still believed it could stunt your growth. Come to think of it, I never made 6 feet so.....

  • So Basically, you are looking for little nuggets of knowledge?

When it comes to Yoga, the positions are there to center your body and mind. Each position dictates a differing way of achieving the center. There is no wrong way only wrong position. A lot of the new places popping up do it for exercise but there is more to it.

In regards to meditation, I can attest that it will bring a peace, just like prayer. The difference is, with meditation, there is no dwelling on the issue you want resolved, instead a solution will come to you with clarity once you have cleared you mind of the problem.

  • So, it is not the position as much a the clearing of the mind, doing something that requires little thought but takes your mind off conscious thought?
