  • Dinner at Weed'em and Reap Garden Club potluck, was better than most restaurants in the area!! Of course it's the people that make it so much fun! HP

  • There certainly was enough and what I liked most is the uniqueness of what we had. The only thing I did not eat was what I brought since I can get that anytime. :-)

    On a growing note, I have naturalized tomato and squash plants bearing fruit right now. If they truly get to mature, I HAVE to save some seed because they are TOUGH to thrive in our dry heat this Summer and even now.

    A ripe bitter melon that was just starting to get soft was covered with 8-10 yellow jackets. They are usually attracted to sweet but I can attest that a bitter melon AIN'T SWEET, so I am wondering if it was the moisture from a softening fruit or....??
