My choice would be to no longer state the suspects name, just referring to him as the suspect or perp. He does not deserve any further personal notoriety, in my opinion.
It seems that for lack of other bloggers to keep the more controversial subjects going, you are left with me. I am not big on those subject, but here is your blog. It is open to most any subject as long as we stay away from personal attacks and keep the language reasonable, just in case a young person mistakenly finds the blog. :-)
I plan to push the "restart" button whenever the blog gets really long or takes a dramatic turn, which it will. But that is OK, I will just start a new one so new readers can find it and join in.
Back to the shooter, he is still at large as of this writing 3:22 PM. Since two firearms are unaccounted for and they believe he returned to his apartment, I thinks he needs to be considered armed, although the police have not stated that yet.
How do they know two are unaccounted for? Because he has a record and they took four firearms away from him, before giving them back to his father, who then gave them to him. The laws were there to protect, but once again something went wrong.
