I didn't see anything that stated anything about it being a Quantum Computer. That is suppose to be the biggest and fastest computer system because it is several computers connected together with all doing separate calculations then feeding the answers back to the main computer. There is no waiting for answers. No matter the problem, a computer for each problem etc.

What's missing in their new AI computer? GOD, No Soul, No Spirit, No Morals.

Artificial Intelligence? How is that different from Fake News? Where will this AI Computer get it's intelligence? Google, Facebook, Wiki Leaks, Holy Bible or straight out of Hell from Satan? Just asking!

  • What sui is talking about is parallel processing, and it has been going on for years. It is what made the Cray a super computer.

"Fake News" is only news that Trump doesn't like; if he likes it, it isn't fake news, even if it is Fake.

-- Posted by Tyger on Sat, Dec 1, 2018, at 9:19 AM
  • All the fearful speculation about the dangers of AI reminds me of the time period when we were preparing to explore outer space. Anyone else remember all the wild speculation about the dangers of leaving the planet that fueled the Twilight Zone and various horror movies?

Huh, if it wasn't for Fake News, I guess I would have never even heard of Quantum Computing. Not interested in Ai and Quantum Computers so no desire to google.

  • From what I understand, (which can easily be scrambled) this will be closest a human mind in the way it “thinks”.

It is a curious question sui poses. The closer we get to human thinking with AI how will it look at our complex world? Will it even try to evaluate humanity and all the complexities and values that a real human mind considers?

Maybe it will not be tasked with emotions, moral decisions?

    Think about it!

We have conservatives and Liberals. Constitutionalist and Communists! Common Sense or the Democrats.

AI would be something the Democrats would create to get more votes.

But whose brain will they use as a starting point? We could be in real trouble if AI are allowed to exist.

There is no way they could create a Sui Kool Aid Brain.

Interesting story, Steve. Did you notice They hope to learn more about the human brain by studying a machine They built to mimic the way They think the brain works? But then that is academia for you. Too much time in their world, not enough time in the real world.

Sui is right about what is missing. Call it what you want: soul, spirit, mind, heart, humanism. They can make AI to somewhat mimic HI (human intelligence) but they won't duplicate it.

I don't think we are doomed to have a robot uprising. But it wouldn't hurt to have some insulated gloves in case you need to cut their power cord.

Tigger, your HI might benefit from some AI. It reminds me of the Z1, or maybe on a good day the ENAIC. Some words might be hard to define but some are fairly easy. And you just totally missed the landing on "Fake News". Fake news has nothing to do with whether or not Trump likes it. Fake news is the incessant spewing by the MSM of downright lies, twisted partial truths, and sometimes just made up things they pull out of their as~ coupled with non coverage of accomplishments a lot of us appreciate. Not with the intent of informing the public of the truth. But with the intent of trying to make us believe the narrative they are trying to push. They have succeeded in fooling a lot of people into believing Trump is Satan incarnate.

It ain’t over til it’s over but I have not run across anything yet. Kind of nice.

I've seen a little coverage on Fox which seems reasonable but haven't bothered checking the coverage on other networks. Guess it shows they can be decent and fair when they choose to. Enjoy it while it lasts.

  • Have you ever noticed in the movies or TV about AI running amok that they could have solved the problem by pulling the plug, but never think of it.

If fake news is the spewing of downright lies, twisted partial truths, and fabrications, then Trump is the embodiment of "Fake News."

Fairshare and sui seem to be as delusional as our President.

I've watch several different media outlets and they've all said nice things about 41, but most of it seemed to be for things before and after he was elected President.

There you go again, tigger, misusing words. But I guess in your world, the ability to see what is in plain sight is delusional. And anything related to Trump is bad. But that is what happens when you go thru withdrawal and can no longer chow down on the raspberry gelato flavored shi! that so freely flowed out of 1600 PA Ave up until 2 years ago.

Just what has Trump done to You? I know the MSM speaks of evil things but they are just telling people what they are like.

Did Trump body slam you at a wrestling match? Did Trump Grope you? Did Trump talk Hateful or vulgar to you? Did Trump say something racist to you? Did Trump Bully you when you were trying to grow up? I never heard Trump slam you or your name or your relatives. Did Trump get all up in your ***?

Just what is it that you people hate Trump, yet tell us everyone is suppose to love your neighbor, just not Trump?

Does the fact That GOD has appointed Trump instead of you, upset you? Do you think you are smart enough to do a fraction of the things Trump has already done in his first two years in office.

Did Trump tell you a bunch of lies to deceive you?

Trump has to lie about some things because he has to stay way ahead of the Deep State or he is dead. He doesn't want them knowing what he is doing to them until it's too late.

I am watching Trump very closely and I have to laugh at how stupid the deep State is when it come to out smarting Trump. You people think he is stupid but he is a genius.

Even I know what Trump is doing some of the time but the democrats just don't get it. They walk right into his trap every time. You sound like one of those people.

Just think, if you listen to the Fake News all the time, that is all you are going to know. You have to look at everything if you want to broaden your mind.

Maybe you should pull the plug and start all over again.

I personally liked George H W Bush, but I know too much about him and the Deep state. John F Kennedy Jr. Knows all about him also.

It's not my place to say anything, but it will all come out.

When you elect someone to drain the swamp, all you can do is sit back and watch what comes out of the swamp. I told everyone that they will be SHOOKED to see who is doing what when it all come out and many people are going to need mental help to cope with it. Thousands have already been arrested, but we are not hearing about it yet.

Steve, what do you think about the idea of backing off on the idea of artificial intelligence and concentrate on fixing natural stupidity?

-- Posted by fair share on Mon, Dec 3, 2018, at 10:15 PM
  • Is it natural or the result of societal stupidity?

-- Posted by stevemills on Tue, Dec 4, 2018, at 7:09 AM
  • I've always heard that you can't fix stupid, but it would be nice if one could. I expect that the reason you can't is that the other is too stupid to listen and learn.

-- Posted by Tyger on Tue, Dec 4, 2018, at 8:54 AM
  • *

Duck tape can help. At least it can muffle the sound. But, tigger, you are almost right. As you know, many people choose to close their eyes and ears so they don't learn. That is called ignorance (the lack of knowledge). It can be fixed if you can convince the lib to use their ability to learn. Stupid, on the other hand, is the inability to learn (the lack of the wherewithal to obtain knowledge).

Good question Steve. The old nature vs. nurture debate. As we all know, it is no particular person's fault. It is society's fault. Therefore society should fix the problem. Just like everything else. Bazinga! Just kidding.

Seriously, tho, it is some of both. There are some people who by the luck of the draw will always be stupid no matter what anyone does. But the majority of stupidity (really more akin to ignorance) is societally imposed.

But it all comes back to personal responsibility. It is in large part due to parents abdicating their responsibility to raise their children. They let the state babysit the kids from preK to adulthood. And that almost guarantees their indoctrination into self-imposed stupidity.

Take, for example, the darling of the dimwits, alexandria ocasio. She thinks the Pentagon somehow lost or misused $21T. And if we can get that back we could pay 2/3 of free healthcare for all (or 100% of the national debt). Anyone with half a brain and just a little bit of walking around sense should know DOD hasn't had that much cumulative budget in their > 200 year history.

And next month she gets to vote on laws for the whole country. After her inauguration, she will be signing them too. Lol.

She has a bachelor's degree with a minor in economics from Boston U! The education system has too take some blame for this. But this case is so egregious we can't just blame society for her. We have to accept that she has a significant portion of plain old stupid.

And the really scary part is that the dimrats have put ao and people like her at the tip of the spear they are aiming at the heart of America; and there are enough stupid/ignorant people out there believing their hogwash that we really are in danger.

-- Posted by fair share on Tue, Dec 4, 2018, at 1:25 PM
  • Stupid used to cure itself through darwinism. But some bleeding hearts thinks it's medieval to allow people to accept the outcome of their decisions, so now we have warnings that coffee is hot, not to lean aluminum ladders against high voltage lines, and other nonsense to protect the stupid.

Remove the warning labels, and everything will sort itself out again.

  • What about a post discussing all the uproar surround old songs like Baby It’s Cold Out There, sung by a who’s who of singers. And I heard something about Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer being a no no now.

-- Posted by stevemills on Tue, Dec 4, 2018, at 10:01 PM
  • Pretty much the same thing, weak, helpless people only kept alive because of a suspension of reality. When people say they're offended, what that means is they can't control their own emotions, and they want everyone else to make concessions, so they won't have to try.

Nevermind how completely spoiled one has to be for a song to be the biggest complaint in life.

-- Posted by quietmike on Wed, Dec 5, 2018, at 6:50 AM

Right on, quietmike. It takes a special kind of perversion to twist cherished children's shows and Christmas songs in order to be offended by them. Even tho I can't carry a note in a 5 gallon bucket, I would sing Baby It's Cold Outside until I was hoarse if a snowflake was around.

The overwhelming majority of people in the world would jump at the chance of having life so good that they can concentrate on which Christmas shows and songs they want to be offended by.

Here is an idea for the overly offended: turn off your tv and radio. Or better yet, don't put these things on your playlist. You are totally free to watch and listen to whatever you want to (except child porn). Guess what? SO AM I!

If you turn off your tv, radio, and playlist, and quit being such a negative Nelly, you might just have time to help make this country better. But since they won't do that the rest of us need to stop fighting darwinism and let nature take it's course.

I would love to be become predominantly vegetarian but I have not found a good solution.

Did you see the guy who dressed down like turkey somewhere in New York? Twenty eight degrees and he curled up like a turkey on a cutting board.

Speaking of Baby It's Cold Outside, I would think that the chronically offended could find something a little better than a classic Christmas song to be offended about. Do they really think the guy who wrote it 74 years ago was singing the praises of Bill Cosby and slick willy? Now the PoundMeToo people want a 3/4 century old song banned because the woman made excuses for staying later, including her suggestion to imbibe; and even though the outcome is left to the imagination, the only one being held accountable for their actions is the guy. If something "bad" happened, it is purely in the mind of the beholder. And that tells me all I need to know about the offended.

    “bringing home the bacon”

Come on Steve. You know better than that. Whatever you sing/say/think is wrong. And it is your fault. At least according to some. But my 2nd favorite Ammendment is the 1st. My 1st favorite is the 2nd.

  • You know that there are two versions of that song; one sung by a male and one by what's-her-name. So, one can be offended by the other side.

-- Posted by Tyger on Thu, Dec 6, 2018, at 7:24 PM

Baby It's Cold Outside has been recorded about 50 times in the past 74 years. The great majority are duets with a guy and a girl. Interestingly, it was written by a guy for him and his wife. They sang it at cocktail parties.

People who get butt hurt because I don't PC the way they want me to better get the 5 gallon tub of bag balm at their Sam's Club.

Stations have actually banned it because some people think the woman in the song should join up with PoundMeToo. Even though she keeps hanging around while saying she has to go. Interestingly, she is the one, not he, that suggests the drink. Which is louder, actions or words? But of course the revisionists now label the guy as a date raper.

Lazarus, it is some actual event. The struggle is real!

-- Posted by fair share on Sat, Dec 8, 2018, at 1:48 AM
  • Thank you, fare. I had no idea what was the source of all this angst. I have to tell you, I hate Christmas music. And, I never realized "Baby it's cold outside" was Christmas music? Nor did I have any idea what the lyrics were. So I looked it all up, and apparently "someone" complained to one radio station in Cleveland, and they temporarily removed BICO from their playlist.... Until an uproar made them realize that the vast majority of people thought that was stupid. It was stupid. This was not "liberals". Half the country is made up of "liberals". Apparently they thought it was stupid, too, because there was no "controversy". Almost everyone said to put the song back on. One station each in Denver and San Francisco saw what Cleveland did, and followed suit... only to backtrack in the face of popular outrage... even in San Francisco, the bastion of liberalism. There are 450 million people in America, guys. In case you didn't know, some of them are stupid... well, actually a lot of them are stupid. If you are going to get your nose out of joint every time someone says or does something stupid, your nose is always going to be out of joint. Personally, I just laughed at them and moved on. (Altho I would happily live without Christmas music!)

You're welcome, laz. You are right about Baby It's Cold Outside not being a "Christmas" song. It is no more about Christmas than Jingle Bells, Sleigh Ride, or Winter Wonderland. But, like the others, it has become part of the Christmas repertoire.

The stupid isn't just about BICO. They also rag about the show Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and other Christmas songs. Apparently, RRNR promotes bullying and glamorizes the sadism of the little guy putting teeth into dolls.

Of course this stuff is stupid. It isn't about having disjointed noses. It is about pointing out the stupid and trying to keep it from changing our traditions.

I'm with you about the barrage of Christmas music this time of year. I would add the lights and decorations, commercials, and sales. It would all be much more tolerable if they waited at least until the Thanksgiving leftovers were used up.

Lots of stores have Christmas in July sales. Even the old time radio channel on Sirius (148) has a week of Christmas shows in July.

Christmas has become way too commercial. By the time we get to 12/25, it is more than just a bit anticlimactic.

No, fair, is was all about the Song - "Baby it's cold outside" that has nothing to do with Christmas or Christ. It went into commercial business then to children believing in Christmas.

How did we get to that point from Artificial Intelligence?

I personally would love to see a match between Trump and their best "AI" computer. My money would be on Trump!

It's like Funding the Border Wall!

It's already been done and congress isn't smart enough to know Trump has already gotten the Funding from Congress.

    Trump is a Genius.

The House, which consists of Pelosi and Schumer met with Trump at the White House today to talk about the budget. They didn't want the press there so Trump invited them. He threatened to shut the government down if he doesn't get the funding (which he already has) for the wall.

The craziest thing is. . . Pelosi and Schumer will give him more money for the wall. Trump brought the MSM in to make Pelosi and Schumer responsible for the government shut down.

Again - Trump is a Genius.

I just don't think any "AI" could out smart Trump because it would be thinking logically where Trump doesn't have to.

fair share, I know what your thinking, but your wrong!

When exactly was Christ Born? Can you prove it?

Are we only suppose to worship Jesus' Birthday on Christmas?

Are we only suppose to worship Jesus on Christmas?

Are we not suppose to worship Jesus everyday?

Doesn't Jesus live inside of us?

Isn't our body the Temple of God?

Does not the Kingdom of God dwell within us.

Isn't Christmas several days out of each year?

Did you forget about Christmas in July for the people who live in the southern hemisphere who celebrate Christmas in June, July, or August when it is cold and snowy in the south?

Is Christmas in June, July or August about the birth of Christ in June, July or August?

Do you worship the Birth of Christ or the Death of Christ, or the Cross, or the Resurrection of Christ or the ascension of Christ?

Christmas didn't even become a federal holiday in America until 1870.

Christmas is the spirit of love and giving. What is more christmasy than giving joy and happiness to children and those who need help or love.

Dumpty was in the room when the deal was made to pay off these women to keep this quite before the election so as not to hurt his chance of winning. Dumpty and his kids used money from their organization to pay them off right before the election and they are all in big trouble. That is a campaign violation and does not fall under paying your mistress. This is just the tip of the iceberg, more is coming.

    lets be real,

Where are the indictments? Innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Trump misspells words - so the Deep State and the Democrats will make fun of his misspelling and not read his message Trump sent to the world. They have no idea what Trump is doing to them!

What better way to get the Fake News to retype Trumps Tweets exactly as he posted them without changing the wording.

Trump gets his messages in the World News and it didn't cost him a dime and they print it exactly as it should be printed.

The deep state and democrats don't read the message. They are only interested in the misspelled word.

Moral of story - Trump got the Fake News to post his Tweets just as he wrote them. It isn't Fake News when he puts misspelled words in his tweets. They post the truth and don't even read it to see what the truth is.

Sometimes he uses a stupid word out of the clear blue sky, justto get his post published word for word with no Fake News included.

    Trump is a Genius! (LMAO)

They had an opportunity to share their solution in that meeting but all they could say was what would not work without any explanation as to why it won’t. It is all anti-Trump even if he could solve cancer.

Has anyone put a dollar amount on what NOT having adequate border security has cost us over the last 8 years? Is there a number to put to all the anti-Trump efforts going on now? Lawsuits, investigations, etc.

The only one profiting is the press. The American people sure are not.

I knew there would be great “weeping and gnashing of teeth” about Hillary/Democrats losing but I underestimated it.

  • "Has anyone put a dollar amount on what NOT having adequate border security has cost us over the last 8 years?"

For you and me personally, Steve, it has saved us thousands of dollars, especially at the grocery store. The miniscule amount of our tax money that has been absorbed is a drop in the bucket compared to the lower prices we pay thanks to all the cheap labor.

Right, Steve. All they can say is "the experts say it won't work". They don't say who these "experts" are. Or quote them.

I'll give you an analogy that even some of the brighter dimwits should be able to follow. If you have a broken water pipe with water gushing out, what so you do? There are several options.

    1) Wait until your next water bill to see if it is an expensive enough problem to fix.

    2) Have a discussion with your significant other about how to fix it---patch the pipe, replace the pipe, turn the water off and let the pipe heal itself. And never come to an agreement.

    3) Listen to your crazy next door neighbor who tells you "it won't work if you fix the pipe".

    4) Just fix the d#mn pipe. Problem solved.

For those concerned about inclusiveness, this idea works both ways. Whether something is getting out that you need to keep in; or something is getting in that you need to keep out. It works for water, illegals, what have you.

It's too late now, but if Trump had started talking against the wall as soon as he won the election, we would have the wall now and his base would be over their butt-hurt and would be praising his craftiness.

  • Dumpty has not used the last billion he got for the wall.It probably went into the Trump business like the 43 million of inauguration money unaccounted for handled by Ivanka. That is also under investigation for over charging the inaugural committee. There is now 6 federal investigations into the Trump businesses. This is unheard of folks.

Obama did not have to pay Rev Wright,he just changed his church, unlike Dumpty who never attends church.

Now he has drafted staff member Mulvaney as acting Chief of Staff who already has 18 jobs in the administration since no one will take it.Whoever does better get a lawyer on day one.Now Interior Sec Zinke is leaving amid being investigated. But these are "the best people".

  • Not sure it is cheap labor Lazarus. I have not seen them getting that much less, but they are normally hard workers so they probably produce more per dollar, plus they are willing to DO the work which it seems hard to find elsewhere.

LBR it is hard to respond to your statements since so much is thrown in and often from way out there that one has to research to find out what you are saying.

    Bravo Sierra.

What about the human cost? A drunk driving illegal killed a girl here in Shelbyville a couple weeks ago, and subsequently disappeared with no way of knowing his true name, let alone his whereabouts.

Or the illegal alien in Lebanon who was just sentenced for repeatedly raping a 6yo girl?

As for me, I'll take the more expensive tomatoes. Not to mention all the e-coli recalls where nasty illegals use lettuce as toilet paper.

Wow, unreal! Great article. If you follow it to the logical conclusion, we could completely eliminate crime. All we would have to do is get rid of all the Americans and replace them with illegals. Seriously, it must be lonesome inside your mind.

Lazarus, seems like a drop in the bucket has a different meaning to you than it does to me. When you think of what we are paying now for border "security", the care and feeding of the ones that sneak in, and the lifetime annuities to the anchor babies and their families, after a while it starts to add up to real money.

I would hate to see the bill for the helicopter ride and hospital treatment for the little girl who died of septic shock a few days ago. When you think about all of it, maybe $5B for the wall is the drop in the bucket. And like quietmike points out, you can't put a pricetag on the human toll.

  • So, lets talk about presidents, QM. What, exactly is it that a president does, anyway? What is the president's role in our government? What qualities make a good president, and what is it they can accomplish that would mark them as successful? Given that congress controls the purse strings, and the supreme court interprets the laws, the president is supposed to serve as more of a CEO, altho we have seen an endless effort of each presidents to expand their power (something always lauded by supporters and bemoaned by opponents, somehow the ones currently benefiting never seem to realize that the expanded power will be carried on equally to presidents they don't like.) The first thing a president needs to be is a competent administrator. Putting together and directing a good staff is the most important part of being an effective president. Second is dealing with the complexities of foreign policy. Third is leadership. A good president can rally the people when needed, presents a respectable image, has a vision for the direction of the country, and is able to step above partisan politics to accomplish his objectives. Every president will have their strengths and weaknesses. And it is progressively more difficult to evaluate their presidency as its proximity to the current time grows closer. Of course, being president during a crisis is when a president really has the opportunity to shine, and be remembered as historically great. That said, I thought I would take a look at the presidents that I actually remember.

Hairy S Truman: OK, to be honest, I don't remember much about Truman, except the famous sign over his desk that said "The buck stops here". 'Nuff said.

Dwight Eisenhower: The lack of a crisis does not stop me from rating Eisenhower as the greatest president of my lifetime. While he was lacking in the charisma department and not an inspirational leader, Eisenhower was a superb administrator. His was an efficient and effective administration. He also brought a vision to the office, and his presidency did much to shape our nation for the decades that followed: able to accomplish his objectives by working with a Democratic congress, he expanded social security, began the interstate system, formed NASA (with a civilian, rather than military mandate), signed the first significant civil rights legislation, and sent troops to enforce desegregation. In Foreign policy he signed the armistice to end the Korean War (or at least bring a truce that has lasted more than 60 years) and used our financial clout to end the Suez Canal crisis by forcing Britain and France to end their occupation. For whatever judgement history might ultimately have, he also initiated covert CIA operations against hostile governments and initiated the cold war strategy of out-nuking the Soviet Union. A+

JFK: With a truncated presidency, it is a little harder to evaluate JFK. He was an above average administrator, as you would expect of a president. His greatest strength would seem to be as a charismatic leader, but it is impossible to tell how that would have played out over the long term if not for his assassination (which will naturally effect how we remember him.) While he had an ambitious vision domestically, he was not very successful in getting his programs through congress, even though he had a Democratic majority. As for his "vision", he started the Peace Corps, and initiated the drive to land on the moon, with its attendant beneficial advances in technology. In foreign affairs there were two defining events. Getting the SU missiles out of Cuba, without triggering a nuclear war was a nearly miraculous success. But the Bay of Pigs fiasco (an extension of Eisenhower's policy of meddling) was a disastrous failure. A-

Lyndon B Johnson: Johnson was an adequate administrator, but mostly a political hack. While he handled the post assassination transition gracefully, he was not generally an inspiring leader. Domestically he had an ambitious agenda, which, with his political skills and a Democratic Congress he was able to get passed. I would give him mixed marks on his domestic agenda. Medicare, Medicaid, and the whole "War on Poverty" schtick. But he did get them passed. Internationally, his handling of the war in Viet Nam was a disaster, however, his more conciliatory approach to the SU did help defuse tensions between the world's two superpowers. B

Richard M Nixon: I don't think anyone will ever call Nixon a charismatic leader. His domestic policies, leaning towards expanding states rights, really received little attention, and he did not try to push any programs thru a Democratic congress. He did oversee formation of the EPA. signed the endangered species act, and saw the conclusion of the moon program... Where Nixon shined was in foreign affairs. He got us out of the Viet Nam quagmire, opened up relations with China shifting the world balance of power (in our favor), and achieved Detente with the SU. The whole Watergate thing is something I will never understand. Why? He could not have lost that election if he didn't even campaign. The deeply flawed person that was Nixon hit his lowest points with his attacks on the priceless American institutions of the free press and the judiciary, but in the end he did the right thing for the country and resigned... weighing that in the balance with his remarkable international achievements, I give Nixon an A-

Gerald Ford: How do you judge Ford? The right person for the right time. He pardoned Nixon, absolutely the right thing to do, as we are not some third world country where we jail our deposed leaders. He also opened a way for Viet Nam War draft dodgers to return (certainly appropriate when we have had so many of them end up serving as president). Domestically, his only other action of note was to use the quick fix of a tax cut to try to stimulate the economy.... like cocaine, it feels good for a while, but you are worse off when you come down. In foreign affairs, he basically hewed to Nixon's policies, while erroneously turning more foreign policy power over to congress.... We need one voice in dealing with other countries, and even an idiot is better than a committee. I have to give Ford an Incomplete.

Jimmy Carter: Only an average leader to begin with, Carter was unfortunate enough to preside during some difficult times, with a struggling economy and serious energy issues. An outsider himself, he filled too many of his administration positions with cronies, and his opposition to nationalized healthcare and desire to cut spending did not win him cooperation from a Democratic congress, resulting in an ineffective administration. Still, he did establish an energy policy and a department of energy. Internationally, he continued the progress in relations with China and Russia. He is about the only president to make a dent in the middle east, with the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt. The Panama Canal was turned over to Panama, an inevitability and one of the last remnants of the long dead era of colonialism to fall. Similarly, the Iran hostage situation was the result of long-term foreign policy errors in the middle east. Carter's moral character is unquestioned, and he has actually achieved a great deal since leaving office... but, as president I have to give him a C-

Ronald Reagan: Only Kennedy rivals Reagan as a charismatic leader. But then, Reagan was a consummate actor, and played the role of president well. He was also effective in getting his initiatives thru a split congress. The two major flaws in his domestic policies were the old, traditional tax cut cocaine hit to stimulate the economy, and throwing open the border to Mexico. in foreign policy he set out to spend Russia under the table. He also reflected Kennedy in going a little over the top in his support for overthrowing hostile governments. Late in his tenure the effects of early stage Alzheimer's started to become apparent, but he was out of office before it got out of hand. I would like to give Reagan a better grade, but the combination of a tax cut and out of control defense spending doomed his successor to an inevitable tax increase. B+

George H Bush: Bush was a return to the uninspiring persona in the White House. With his squeaky voice and average white guy appearance, he hardly gave the image of a leader among men. He was immediately faced with problems left by his predecessor, with the savings and loan problem, and the unsustainable growth of debt. An excellent administrator, and competent politically, he was able to work thru a compromise solution to the debt problem with a Democratic controlled congress. He bit the bullet and absorbed the hit for an inevitable tax increase and facing the savings and loan scandal. At the cost of his own reputation, Bush saved the "legacy" of Reagan. Internationally, the collapse of the SU pretty much fell in his lap, but Bush was instrumental in seeing the reunification of Germany in the face of misgivings from many European countries. He also built an international coalition to kick Iraq out of Kuwait, altho criticized for stopping short of Baghdad at the time, we now see what a judicious decision that was. Not everything came up roses, as the Iraqui rebellion he encouraged was bloodily suppressed (shades of the Bay of Pigs) when the US offered no tangible support. Somehow he found time to also see the creation of NAFTA. With his overall competence and willingness to do what was right, regardless of personal consequences I give Bush the greater a solid A.

Bill Clinton: Clinton brought a good dose of charismatic leadership, and proved to be a very competent administrator. With no sweeping domestic initiatives except fiscal responsibility and universal health care, a tax increase and NAFTA came into play, along budget surpluses. Universal health care failed under a Republican congress, however Clinton did sign several conservative initiatives into law. Internationally we participated in several international interventions, maintained a good relationship with post SU Russia, and increased our trade ties with China. Although the Clinton years lacked the defining moment of crises, back to back presidencies of steady competence across the board might have something to do with that. A

George W Bush: In the interest of saying something nice, GWB seems like a decent man, and not nearly as dull as his appearance would make you think. However, he was distinctly incurious, and obviously was happy enough to be told what he wanted to hear. W was, at best, an indifferent administrator. Domestically he went straight for the cocaine high of a big tax cut, combined with a laissez faire attitude towards financial institutions. The result was a predictable boom, which lasted until the buzz wore off, and then led to a huge post-high crash. Bush got his opportunity to shine in a crises, when the 9-11 attacks rocked the national psyche. However, his response was the distinctly un-american Patriot Act, and perhaps the greatest foreign policy blunder in US history, the invasion of Iraq. I like GW, but have to give him a C-

Barak Obama: Personally, I think Obama was above average in the charismatic leadership department. For a man of colour to be elected president of the US was something I never dreamed would be possible in my lifetime. We have come a long way since the Men, Women, and Colored restrooms of my youth. But old attitudes die hard, and there was also an unprecedented level of vitriol. He was a decent administrator, and somehow pulled off the miracle of getting health care legislation thru a split congress. On the international front, Obama's actions studiously echoed those of H Bush, in being undertaken with international support. Notably a curb on Iran's nuclear weapon development and a Carbon emissions control agreement. B+

Donald Trump: Giving credit where credit is due, Trump has a cult like following among a portion of the population. However, he is the most polarizing figure to ever hold the office. He is, by his own words, a terrible administrator. By trashing the very people he chose, he is saying he does a poor job of selecting his people. The constant public criticism of those who work for him, and the not surprising high turnover, are the marks of a terrible administrator. As far as his ability to get things done, Trump does not appear to understand how the US government works. He administers pretty much entirely by executive orders, and cannot even get his initiatives thru a Republican congress, with the exception of the cocaine tax cut, which boosted the economy for a spell, but seems to be wearing off. Foreign policy is where he has truly been a disaster. Russia and China have been expanding their spheres of influence. Worse, there seems to be a rapprochement brewing between them. Any Russia-China alliance immediately makes us the third most powerful country. Our enemies are emboldened, our allies don't trust us. For the first time in my life, the US president is not the most powerful person in the world.... he is not even the leader of the free world. D-

  • QM; Steve said dollars. As far as the human cost, it would make little difference to me if the immigrant who ran over me was legal or illegal; came from Indiana or Mexico. It is not like all crime is committed by illegal aliens. The funny thing is, I am not in favor of more immigration. Refugees are like dumped kittens. I am sympathetic, but I can't take them all in (sorry Steve). People looking for a better life; I am sympathetic (if I lived in Mexico or Honduras, I would be trying to get here instead), but we can't take them all. I have been opposed to the open border since Reagan opened the flood gates... As far as the leaking pipe analogy goes. If you were going to fix it by wrapping a t-shirt around it, I would tell you that won't work. It is a waste of a good shirt. Same thing with the wall. It is just a stupid, expensive symbolic gesture. I am not big on symbolic gestures. I want something that works.

  • Laz, first this jumped out at me.

So Obama wasn't polarizing, it was vitriol.

Under Trump, it isn't vitriol, he is polarizing.

Why the distinction on where you place the blame if not for partisanship?

Both had opposition who were itching to see them fail even before they took office.

I don't think either president deserves the polarizing moniker, as the country itself has become polarized.

One side is only interested in avoiding responsibility and getting freebies, while the other is tired of making concessions and is looking to restore personal and economic freedoms. That is an impasse no amount of charisma can navigate.

If an airport didn't have walls designed to funnel people to the magnetometer for security screening, but instead relied on people to voluntarily comply, would you see that as effective?

Walls are the primary method of security control worldwide, from the walls that comprise the vault at your local bank to the walls that surround the vatican (nevermind that hypocrisy).

A wall alone is not sufficient, but no one is claiming it to be the end all.

Walls simply make security a manageable affair.

IMO, Israel had two great ideas to address immigration control the US should adopt. There immigrants are disallowed from sending money to their home country, and 20% of their earnings are held by the government and are only paid upon the immigrant's departure.

I like the Israeli idea but if, as in our case, they are illegal, what will make them suddenly do things legally?

  • Steve, no reason to leave it to the illegals.

Require banks, western union, etc., to verify citizenship before sending money overseas.

If a lawful citizen sends it for an illegal, they'll have to explain that money during an IRS audit.

If an illegal wants to stuff a few hundreds in an envelope and drop it in the mailbox, well there's not much you can do about that.

Obama inflamed racial tensions more than anyone since George Wallace.

Obama said police "acted stupidly" when following procedure based on common sense in the "beer summit" debacle.

Obama said much of the country clings to guns and religion and are xenophobic.

    I'm not seeing any difference.

  • The assertion that illegals are a net benefit doesn't stand up to reality.

Lots of US citizens are a net drain on society taking more than they contribute.

Income or payroll taxes are rarely collected from illegals, nevermind FICA.

Illegals enjoy almost all of society's benefits such as education and healthcare without paying for them. Also those programs become more expensive because of translators and ESL teachers, when passable English is a requirement for citizenship, so these costs are laid squarely on illegals.

1 out of 5 federal inmates are aliens.

How many illegals have a driver's license, much less insurance, so who pays for the damage of cerveza and tequila fueled crashes?

Cheaper produce is such a miniscule part of the economy, it isn't even considered in inflation calculations.

At least some of us are honest enough to admit it.

Trump is a rude loudmouthed braggart, but what's far worse are the sanctimonius hypocrites who criticize him while they remained silent when past democrats did the same or worse.

    A few intemperate statements???

And you wonder why I say you're a liberal.

Obama was the consummate victim, so of course he was the "chocolate jesus" to the left.

  • "1 out of 5 federal inmates are aliens." Yes; and people detained in Federal custody constitute about seven and a half % of people in custody in the US.... But *all* immigration status offenders are housed in Federal facilities. So, really, your statistic while appearing to be shocking, provides absolutely no enlightenment as to the number or % of illegal aliens in custody for personal or property crimes.

Strange discussion. We both think we need to put a brake on illegal immigration (maybe even immigration, period). Apparently you think it is because all illegals are dangerous criminals, and I think it is because we do not need to import more unskilled, uneducated workers, just so employers can pay lower wages. I think we even both agree that we would rather pay more for some things, so that americans can work for a living wage. As an aside, illegals work in more than produce. Pretty much every agricultural industry, especially meat packing, construction, including road construction (paid for with government funds), domestic workers, restaurants, you name it. We pay less for a lot of things thanks to illegal immigrants...and if we are going to stop it (or slow it down), we have to address the people who are hiring them. As long as the jobs are there, the illegals will keep coming.

Your right lazarus. If an illegal alien or even a legal Mexican/US citizen will work for 10 cents an hour cheaper, you are out of a job.

There is absolutely no Loyalty to workers in Tenn..

We have immigration laws in America, we just have to replace congress, so we can execute them. That will happen in January 2019.

We are discriminating if we don't let the illegals in, and we are also discriminating if we bring them in to do the Sh*t work that doesn't pay much.

I say keep the illegals out of America and send the low paying Companies to Mexico. If they will work for less, give them the companies that don't want to pay anything.

As far as criminals in our prisons go, the illegal aliens

are illegal criminals because they are legal. However, they aren't put in prison. They are caught and released back into our towns and cities. That is why you don't see a lot of illegal aliens in prison percentages. They are on the streets where we live, or made police officers.

We have a run away government. It started with the deep State that ran everything, then blackmailed every congressman into taking a swim in their swamp.

You seem to be intelligent, so please tell me how Trump can clean out the swamp and do all the other jobs a President is suppose to do while the Democrats are voting against him on everything. Even the stupid Republicans are sucking up to the deep state against Trump.

as impossible it was for any man to beat the deep state, Trump is winning and still keeping America PROUD. Listen to the rest of the world cheer Trump on, yet the Americans don't see what Trump is doing.

How do you arrest the lawless people in the DOJ, FBI and NSA when they are all working for the deep state. He has to find the crimes against them before he can arrest them so he can make America Great Again.

The indictments are out, but the arrests we are wanting (Lock Her Up) won't come until Jan 1, when his executive order is enacted giving Trump the power to arrest them and send them to GITMO or other Military Prison to be tried and punished.

There will be so many arrest made that the people are not going to believe their eyes.

You see how Democrats and Republicans argue now wait until they get arrested.

Did you see the look on Laura Bush and Jeb Bushes face when George jr said yes to what Jeb asked him? It was a look or fear and TERROR.

In the middle of the funeral, the Bushes and others who received a card in their folder from the SS knew what Trump done, what he is doing and what he is gonna do. They are scared.

    It's coming in January.

Now FEMA and Homeland Security are telling us to get prepared with at least 2-6 months of food, water, medicine, and NO ELECTRICITY. Not saying it will happen but we are being told to prepare.

Illegal immigrants picked the wrong time to come to America!

Of course, I have had four more heart attacks but at least I saved whatever mind was left.;-)

However, if you have examples of Democrats who are more classless, I will be glad to join you in denigrating them. For that matter, we can do the same for Independents, Whigs, Nazis, Communists, you pick them. I don't remember anyone ever holding office that quite compares to Trump. And I have seen some bad ones.

Lazarus, I'm not sure anyone has accused Trump of having any class, even on this board. And if you could find an unbiased jury pool to decide the fact of which one (Trump or barry) had more class, I would wager the verdict would fall bummer's way. And if "class" is the primary criteria for good vs bad President, then or course, Trump would be toward the bottom of the list. Cooling his heels with Randy Andy Jackson, JFK, and maybe some others.

If class is on the typical Trumper's list at all, it only makes a token appearance at the bottom. That is because we know what is important is getting things done for the betterment of America and Americans. And Trump is a get er done sort of guy like no other. That is why he will be up there with Reagan looking down at the others when all is said and done.

Unreal, if you want anyone to take anything you say with the tiniest bit of seriousness, you really gotta stop the Nazi references. As it is, you sound just like Charlie Brown's teacher: "Wah, wah; wah wah wah, wah".

  • Fare; Jackson is a fair enough comparison. But I think you meant LBJ, rather than JFK. When it comes to downright crudeness, LBJ probably tops Trump. He would be pretty far down my list of presidents, but he did have the political skills to get things done in his heavy handed way. JFK was a pretty smooth operator.

-- Posted by lazarus on Mon, Dec 17, 2018, at 6:02 PM
  • Reel; there is no parallel between Nazi Germany and numbering kids at the border. If you wanted to stretch for a comparison, it would be our rejection of thousands of Jewish refugees before WWII. Many were returned to Europe, to die in the Holocaust.... But it would be quite a stretch. The situations these new hopeful immigrants are fleeing are bad, but not methodical genocide. For what it is worth, Americans were not inspired to increase immigration quotas after the Holocaust became common knowledge.

Well, laz, I can't argue with you about LBJ being crude. I've never heard of Trump conducting meetings with his staff while he's taking a dump. But I did intend for JFK to be on my low class list. Sure, he was a smooth operator. Probably rivals bummer in the appearance of class or "appropriate social interaction". I don't really consider it classy to be married while bedding the birthday party singer. But I care more about results than appearances. He was a good President despite the Bay of Pigs fiasco. He used BoP as a learning experience and grew a pair for the next go round with the commies. Too bad he ticked off the Federal Reserve and was unable to finish his term. Kinda sad that one of the best presidents the dims ever produced wouldn't even get a seat on stage with the 20 or so that are chomping at the bit to take each other out over the next 2 years.

  • QM; I am not sure how it makes me a liberal to see that Obama has more class than Trump.

I call you a liberal because of the strawmen you build, such as this one, instead of addressing the actual issue.

Class was never mentioned before this post.

Your claim was Trump being polarizing and obama the recipient of vitriol.

I countered that obama never missed a chance to race bait.

Nevermind my assertion that it's the country itself is polarized.

  • "Nevermind my assertion that it's the country itself is polarized." I think your assertion is a testament to the direction Trump is taking America. No wonder Russia wanted him to be president so bad.

I have a different view of America. I think that America is full of good people who have more in common that in difference, and that our perception of a polarized nation is a product of a lack of true leadership....To really explain the basis for that belief, I will have to reveal a little project I did during the 4 months I was not posting on here last summer. At sunup (invisible due to cloud cover) on May 10, i dipped a little vial of water from the Atlantic Ocean at Brenton's Point, in Newport, Rhode Island, hoisted a pack with my necessities, and started walking. 123 days, and 3,306 miles later, in the early afternoon of September 13, I dumped that vial of water in the Pacific Ocean at Newport, Oregon. Along the way I crossed 10 Mountain Ranges (who knew there were so many?), 2 deserts, countless rivers, and the width of the great Plains. I walked across Providence, Boston, Albany, Buffalo, Erie, Cleveland, Toledo, Chicago, and Dubuque. I passed thru who knows how many small towns, and walked on everything from Interstate highways to farm tracks on the open range. I started out with nothing but a small backpack of my necessary items, a little cash, and a lot of faith in the goodness of the American People. I finished with most of my cash, and 10 times as much faith in the goodness of the American People. Because I could not have made the trip without the kindness of strangers. I had, literally, thousands of human encounters.... every single one was a positive experience. Sometimes I would stay the night in motels... more often, someone would pick me up off the road, take me home for the night, and return me the next morning. Those people were your "polarized" America. I got help from people who still had Clinton bumper stickers on their car, and stayed one night in a home whose entire front wall was covered by a Trump billboard. I can't count the times that someone would pull up in a car and just give me a bottle of cold water. Out in the wide open spaces of the West, people gave up whole days of their lives to accompany me and give me food and drink. I could not have survived the desert crossings without the help. People would come out and walk with me and talk. Maybe for a mile or two, maybe all day. People of all stripes and persuasions. And you know what struck me? They all had more in common than they had in difference. I met white people, black people, hispanics, asians. Catholics and Protestants, Mormons, Amish, jews, and atheists. And yes, everything from flaming liberals to staunch conservatives, and plenty of devout Trumpers. All of them good people, with more in common than in difference. Oh, the places I went, and the things that I saw. It was the journey of a lifetime.... When I had first decided I would do this I asked my Dr. for clearance to try it during my annual physical. He told me that, at my age and with my health issues, it was impossible. I knew he was right. But I felt like I was able to walk one day. So that is what I did. I got up and walked for 14 hours that day. The next day, I got up and walked for 14 hours. I just walked one day... 123 times. And one day, there was the Pacific Ocean. I averaged only 27 miles a day, but I am old and not in very good health. So that was the best I could do. At the end of my journey I had lost about 40 pounds. My next project was to find the missing pounds. I have been looking in places like buffets, and ice cream shops. And have been successfully locating the missing pounds... turns out, a lot of them were at Krogers.... But, I digress. You really don't want to get me started talking about my walk across America. We have a great country, that never stopped being great. And it is filled with good people, who have a lot more in common than they have in difference. And I have little patience, and no use, for so-called leaders, who rely on trying to set us against each other to compensate for the absence of true leadership.

Nice story, laz. It could bring a tear to a glass eye. But this country was polarized before you went on your Forrest Gump hike. And it was polarized before Trump became a candidate. I doubt he could have won if it had not been so polarized.

I'm not a lawyer (thank God) and I'm not giving anyone legal advice. But, please don't be telling people you walked on the interstate. I believe that is illegal.

-- Posted by fair share on Tue, Dec 18, 2018, at 12:07 PM
  • This country became more divided when Obama became president because some Americans could not handle a black man in the WH.A third of Americans minds was infiltrated with hate from fake news stories from fake news companies like Infowars,Faux and Russian propaganda. Then Dumpty added more fuel to the fire and embraced hate groups. His rallies pumped them up emboldened more folks like David Duke.So Obama did not divide this country,it exposed hidden racism.

So now we have a money hungry lying man in the WH who puts himself before his country. He and his family pocketed charity money from the Trump Foundation.

  • Oh, i am good on the interstate walking, Fare. I went thru the highway patrol in Wyoming, and Idaho has no traffic laws (which might be why I came out calling it the "roadside memorial state".

Lol. That might be why most states have signs saying no pedestrian traffic on their interstates. Speaking of the interstate highway system, does it make any sense to anyone that Hawaii has an interstate road as opposed to an intrastate?

You know it's sad when even LBR can see the polarization of the US was here before Trump.

But, instead of addressing that, you put up a wall of verbosity as yet another strawman to continue your hypocrisy about trump/obama.

I do agree that the overwhelming majority of people are good, which is why, unlike liberals, I see no reason to compel others to the right thing through force of government.

  • You are gloating too quick. Trump already backed down on his government shutdown. He only said that because he got played by Pelosi and Schumer when he thought it would be a great idea to engage them in front of live cameras... That's what happens when he starts believing he is as brilliant as he claims to be....I know you will think this makes me a liberal; but if Trump gets publicly manipulated that easily by the likes of Pelosi and Schumer, just imagine how he fares behind closed doors with Xi and Putin.

Dumpty's own words on video over and over again "I never did any business dealings with Russia".He and Giuliani can't get their stories straight. Eric Trump is even on video saying "we see a lot of money coming in from Russia".This is one of the reasons he kisses up to Putin and Russia. It will come out that this also influenced his policies toward Russia.Dumpty did not have the guts to say to Putin face to face on live tv that Russia interfered with our election.

Everything with Dumpty's name on it is under investigation. He and his kids are now banned from being on the board of any charity. The feds are looking for the $12,000 Tebow helmet he brought with charity money.Shameful.Dumpty has not donated any money to it since 2008, but the Trumps used it as if it was their own personal bank account.

  • Not a banner week for the Trump. First he got duped by Pelosi and Schumer into taking ownership of the shutdown. Realizing his error by the next day, he backed down. Then he got slammed by Fox news, and feared losing his all important fan base. So he reversed course again. Weak! It is not lost on anyone how easily he is manipulated... well, except for the fans I guess.

Then he bows to Putin's demand that he withdraw from Syria. This time making a really serious error, that will cost dearly. He basically has allowed us to now be driven from the Middle East, turning it over to Iran and Russia. I am not worried too much about ISIS, as I expect Russia and Iran will take care of them. But it is a sad thing that we would abandon our allies, the Kurds, to be slaughtered. It didn't get much attention, but Trump knuckled under to Putin and removed the sanctions on one of Putin's buddies. Makes you wonder how much Putin has on Trump, and how concerned Putin is that Trump's days are numbered, to call in all these favors now.

On the home front, the growing fear of Mueller's investigation shows in the increasing attacks. But, then, what of Trumps dealings has ever stood up to scrutiny. Trump University is investigated, turns out to be a fraud and gets shut down. Trump charities investigated, turns out to be a fraud and gets shut down. Even his inauguration looks to be just another swindle. His business dealings... no different. One by one his partners are finding their way to prison. And it isn't mastermind, genius swindles; just common everyday nonsense. A small-time grifter with a lot of money is still a small-time grifter.

The histrionics of LBR and co aside, if Trump can't find a way to bury Mueller before the truth comes out, his days are numbered. You have to wonder what the Republicans are thinking. Afraid to alienate the fan base, but certainly poised for the right moment to jump off a sinking ship.

  • If obama were setting the basis for cooperation with putin people would cheer. Instead Obama was Putin's handpuppet and got humiliated over his 'red lines".

Leaving with the saudis and kurds strong would be quite a bit better, but to be honest I think it's just saving face. Syria is lost.

President obama repeated endlessly that he was sure of only one thing and that was that Assad will go.

Assad is still there. Obama is gone.

Trump knows there is no reason for US troops on the ground there. Remember Beirut?

You need allies that will fight their own battles.

As for the logic of the left:

You know, Netanyahu has been getting along real well with Putin lately over Syria and Lebanon so obviously Bibi is building a hotel in Moscow and Putin promised him the next election.

All I can say to you Steve, is if you have had that many heart attacks, you better get yourself another Killer. They must be minor heart attacks to keep getting them.

I had one heart attack when I went in for a bypass, and I won't agree to being operated on again like that!

I didn't know it at the time, but I had diabetes. They don't feed you when you are going to have surgery. Because I had Diabetes, I started crashing and they thought I had died. every time they brought me back I passed out again. 3 times I passed out before they put me under for surgery. They waxed my chest while I was on the operating table. Boy did I cuss them out until I passed out again.

It took me a couple years to recover from the surgery and still feel hatred towards the doctors AND the surgery. I still feel worse than before my surgery.

Now that takes CLASS to do for the American people who don't even know it exist.

FDR took the Gold away from the American people and exchanged our gold for the Federal Reserve Notes that we are using today as Fiat money. It doesn't pay off anything. It only creates another debt that the US Government has to pay which is added to the US Deficit (21+Trillion Dollars - calculator still calculating).

JFK found out what the deep state was doing and tried to warn the people. He was assassinated. George HW Bush was behind the assassination and LB Johnson became the next President, who removed all the Silver from our coins so America would not be able to pay off their debt with the silver. LBJ worked for the Deep State and George HW Bush and took part of the JFK Assassination. He was in returned killed by the deep state to keep him form talking.

President Regan was ordered by the deep state to appoint George HW Bush as his Vice Pres, so the Deep state could stay in control through G H W Bush.

Your little project could have cost you your life if it wasn't for good people in America. It was a very stupid thing to do. Without money to feed yourself you could have starved and if you had money you could have been robbed even killed for a couple dollars.

You could have been killed by a hit and run or had a heart attack or stroke or just died from exhaustion. Very foolish project. I walked a lot when I was younger but never walked out in the countryside. I was always afraid of snakes or wild animals at night.

I see the kindness in everyone I meet everyday. I open doors for people and he people open the doors for me. I have yet to run into a nasty woman who told me she would open her own door. I find women still like the door opened for them. It's just those women in the marches that act stubbornly. and rude.

And the best part is I don't have to go across the country to find caring people or go to the south border to find nice people. We are a nice and caring people, but we do have some limits that we expect from others.

I have also met some rude people who want to judge you before they get to know you.

It also depends on someone's mood they are in at the time. Sometimes they are in a hurry or depressed by something making them moody. Maybe a death in the family or can't get up the money to pay their bill. Sometimes people are in a very happy mood, but no one else happens to be in a happy mood.

We also have people who have no idea what is going on around them.

Trump on the other hand is a very GOOD man and President. Donald Trump is doing things that most of the American people know nothing about. They only listen to the Main Stream Media (which is owned by the Deep State) who are telling everyone that Trump is stupid, Hateful, a racist, etc,, etc.. These people are the idiots. They don't know how to use their common sense. They only repeat what they are told to repeat. Trump will be known as the best president this country has ever had.

You are half right. Obama divided the country with his Racist attitude. He cried out Racist every time he couldn't get his way. He done thing in the name of racism. Obama and his black caucus screamed Racism every time Obama wanted to do something and anyone stood up against him. Yes Obama did divide our country.

Look at all the good things Obama did for our country and the world! Oh, that's right, he done absolutely nothing that was good for our country, unless you consider giving Iran Billions of dollars, Hillary losing Millions of Dollars without a trace. That's a pretty neat trick. When did ISIS become an enemy? It was when Obama, the Muslim, became the president and Hillary Clinton became the secretary of state. When did country leaders start being taken out and replaced with Muslims and Isis?

This was done by Obama and his side kick Hillary under the help of the Deep State, which they were members of.

Just as an example, look at every election poll. Approximately 50%-50%. Tell me that isn't dividing the country right down the middle.

Fortunately, Trump changed that a lot. The polls still lie and claim 50%-50% but we know better.

Hillary was suppose to win and finish off America and turn it into a New One World Order.

Sorry Dems, Trump has stopped the New One World Order. It's over!

Trump and Hillary both invited the whole world to their rallies. Hillary just couldn't get anyone to come to hear her lies. She did invite a Transvestite and the grand Dragon of the KKK.

So, Obama did divide this country and embraced the Hate groups - Black Lives Matter - Antifa - KKK and others and he definitely exposed the hidden Racism of the black people.

Honestly most of the blacks do not feel racist against the white people or Trump. Only the Hillary and Obama sheep.

Sorry, lbr, no indictments. All conspiracies. Trump puts our country first above all other countries. I see more racism from the black caucus than I hear from Trump. He doesn't say anything racist against anyone. He calls people for what he sees them project.

I enjoyed that. You told it like it is!

Trump told them he would gladly take the blame for shutting down the government (if) he did not get the money for the wall and money for the Military. Pelosi and Chucky decided if they didn't come up with the money, they could blame Trump for the shut down. Truth is Pelosi and Chucky caused the shut down by not giving Trump his Border Wall Money.

The thing is, They gave Mexico 10.5 Billion to help Mexico out with their border.

What was that all about. I look for Trump to veto or stop paying that. That is twice as much as what Trump was asking for.

Unless I heard wrong, Trump DID shut down the government. Where were you at that you didn't hear about the shutdown?

Trump didn't lie. He done what he said he would do.

Now Pelosi and Schumer have to explain why they gave Mexico 10+ Billion for their borders and nothing to Trump for our National Security Border Wall?

Who won that argument? It's all on Video.

Trump knows how to work people and how to make them squirm.

Watch them come up with the 5+ Billion and it wouldn't surprise me if trump demands 10+ Billion now.

No such thing as closed doors. Everything will be revealed.

China and Trump is working on a Trade agreement that will shut down the Central banks.

Putin and Trump are working together to destroy the Deep State. Where do you think Trump got Trillions of Data Bytes on the plans and activities of the Deep State? The Deep State is done for!

You will see the arrests in January. We may be able to see some of the trials but not all. Executions I doubt!

LBR is Deep State. All she can talk about is Hateful stuff about Trump and his family and white people being racist. She doesn't see the black racists. She is all for the Black Lives Matter who kill whites and blacks and Asians. She hates Putin who is working with the USA and likes China who has spies everywhere in our country and in congress.

Russia didn't interfere with our election. Russia may have given WikiLeaks some of Hillary's emails but that hasn't been proven yet. They killed off Seth Rich who may have been the snitch to WikiLeaks.

Asange will be testifying soon and that will expose the truth that the deep state doesn't want revealed.

The Declas we keep hearing about will expose the truth and who was behind what.

The interfering with the election was Hillary interfering with the Trump campaign by using her power as the Secretary of State to get Obama to do all those illegal spying he had done by the FBI and DOJ.

    10. lets be real

You said "Steve I hate no one just never seen a president this corrupt before and some think it is normal. Some are willing to back whatever he does even if it hurts America."

You mean you hate no one except Trump, his wife, his family and his followers and the duke and the list goes on.

Did you have your head in the sand when Obama was president? That was the president who ran the deficit up 9 trillion dollars all by himself. Well, he and his man wife. She would even take a second airplane to HI when they went on a family vacation, doubling the expense and spent millions will on vacations.

Syria. What are we doing in Syria? That was brought about by the Deep State. They wanted Obama to go in and bomb the local people and blame it on the Syrians. The deep state was making money on that war.

Obama took weapons from Libya and sent them to Syria on the night of the Benghazi attack. The ambassador Stephens knew about Benghazi behind this gun smuggling and couldn't keep his mouth shut, so Hillary refused to let him live and name her and Obama in this illegal action.

Russia was bombing all the rebels the US was arming and training. It was a waste of time, money, training and men. Just how many Americans died in that is unknown. Obama kept doing it until he left office.

Trump said he didn't want anything to do with Syria's war, but continued because congress wanted it to continue. (Deep State congress).

Putin told Trump that he was not going to let the US remove Assad from power, so why continue to kill more people. Look at all the cities destroyed by that time. It was a total destruction of parts of the country, by the "DEEP STATE", using US Presidents and congress. If you remember right, they were bombing hospitals etc. Only the Deep State could benefit from that.

Finally Trump wised up after speaking to the leader of Turkey who said he was fixing to bomb the Kurds. The last of the allies who were protecting the countries against Isis.

We will just have to wait and see what happens to the Kurds when we pull out.

Think about this lbr! Trump is smarter than many of his Military people. Look what happened to the officer who talked out against Trump. It doesn't take long for anyone to realize it is not very smart to talk hateful about your boss.

A lot of the Generals done what they were chosen to do and had to leave so he could get the next general he needed to do the next level of General work.

The war Trump is fighting isn't your regular war. It is a war against the Deep State who has had control of our country for years. Even Generals can only do so much because of their training and experience. Bigger jobs call for bigger generals ans special jobs go to special generals. Trump is a Genus!

And now for your big case! The republicans control the house and the senate. Which Republicans and which democrats belong to the Deep State? Do you know? Trump isn't your regular president doing what he is told to do. trump has to think for himself and work with what he has until he can weed them out. The republicans in office will be removed who are corrupt and going against the commander in chief. The same holds true with the democrats. The experts are saying that when Trump leaves office there will never be another "democratic party".

Personally, I do not believe Politicians should be paid for time off even for a gov. shutdown. If you don't work, you shouldn't get paid. That is just another paid holiday. just like the police when they get laid off for investigations.

For the record, Defense Sec. Mattis was forced to resign. No General resigns from duty. They retire!

Trump has his new Gen picked out to do the next job. The arrests are coming after Christmas and the Military Tribunals in Jan. Time to upgrade again.

What would you have Trump do while the gov is shut down? Pelosi and Schumer shut the gov down so Trump is going home for a long Christmas Holiday.

And you thought Trump was stupid?

RBG should be passing soon from her cancer. She could pass form old age even sooner. Time for another SCJ before the Jan rush.

None of this crap means a thing. It's all just a game they are playing.

Trump could care less about the wall. It is a tactic to keep the Deep State busy while he takes them out.

After what Trump is gonna do to the Deep State and the News Media Reporters, aliens will not want to come to America where we arrest and execute our own high ranking people.

Trump shut the government down and has decided to stay in DC instead of going home for Christmas.

I believe Trump is staying in DC because the arrests may start on the 24th of Dec., not the 1st of Jan.. He may be needed in DC when it starts.

Washington crossed the Delaware on Dec 24th in spite of Christmas the next day and surprised the enemy.

Trump may be doing the same thing.

When congress comes back in Jan, it will look like the Rapture has come and gone. There will be so many people missing they won't know what is happening. I say this because the regulation states that it is mandatory for some gov. employees come to work on Dec 24, the day before Christmas. It is law and whoever is told to come in MUST come in to work. How much easier that will be to have the employees come to work and walk in to a pair of handcuffs instead.

Merry Christmas Hillary. Some reports are claiming Hillary and Obama ARE in jail Now, but no proof of that yet.

    It's coming soon.

The Kurds have probably been our most reliable allies in the region, and were instrumental in taking away the ISIS "caliphate." We did not step in and help the Kurds. They stepped up and helped us. Their issues are with our NATO ally Turkey. If we want to leave Syria to the Russians, fine. Work out an orderly withdrawal. But to summarily leave the Kurds exposed against Turkey is treachery.

    fair share

Funny you should mention Folgers coffee. that's my brand but it has to be instant coffee.

I used to stock up on it every time Walgreens ran their special on it for $5.00 a jar. I could keep a good stock of coffee back then. Now that they merged with CVS they don't offer that special any more, or at least they don't advertise it. CVS runs a special now and then but only buys 4 or 5 jars to supply 20,000 people in Bedford county. They might as well not run a sale on it for 4 or 5 jars.

I don't shop at either of the drugstores anymore. Guess I'm gonna have to stick to my Kool Aid.

Can someone tell me why a store would run a special on an item then don't order it or just a couple items. It cost more to run their ad than they make on the items. Don't they realize there are 10s of thousands of people in Bedford that have to buy the same things?

I thought this blog was dead plus I was too busy lately to check it out. Finally found a couple hours to check it out.

-- Posted by sui on Sun, Dec 23, 2018, at 1:15 PM
  • It is called "bait and switch" sui... they just want to get you into the store, figuring you will buy something to make your trip not a total waste. "Advertising a sale while intending to stock a limited amount of, and thereby sell out, a loss-leading item advertised is legal in the United States. The purveyor can escape liability if they make clear in their advertisements that quantities of items for which a sale is offered are limited, or by offering a rain check on sold-out items."

Thanks for the info. I was aware of what they do and why, I don't see any logic to advertising a product that could make them sales. Even at their dealer cost they would make money!

Instead they lost a customer who was shopping in their stores. Just like Walmarts changing the store around so often. It makes you go all around the store just looking for your item. If I am in a hurry, I just ask someone where it is and get out.

The stores also advertise 3 for a special price, then stock only two of them so you have to pay the full price.

They also have the sale at the end of the aisle. Same item as in the middle of the store but the sale is for a higher price at the end of the aisle. It's Easier to find the item but cost more.

    To Everyone,

All of these wars we see and hear about are all started by the Deep State. Hell, John McCain who was recognized as a "HERO" American was supporting the Isis with his money under Obama and Hillary. That is one of the reasons McCain was executed by Trump. He also told our government that there were no more prisoners left in Viet Nam. The gov never went after them or tried to recover any of them because McCain said there weren't any more prisoners left in Viet Nam. McCain was a big time Traitor to the men left in Viet Nam and to our Country. He died an honorable death for a Traitor. Obama and Hillary will be executed also next year for Treason when they are tried by a Military Tribunal.

Hillary Clinton is almost a vegetable now, so she will probably get the red pill instead of facing the Gallows or Firing Squad. They could Torture Obama to death and that would be too kind to him for what he done.

The Kurds were gassed back in northern Iraq, yet they survived to go on to fight Isis. They went into the mountains to save the Christians. Turkey has always talked about killing all the Kurds just like Iran talking about killing all the Americans and Jews, yet the Kurds still fight on.

If Turkey bombs the Kurds, I believe Trump will have to take out the leader of Turkey and make the country pay dearly. He has an executive order giving him the authority without congress's consent per the Human abuse clause.

Trump has already said he has talked to the leader of Turkey and that is one of the reasons he is pulling our troops out of Syria, so he no doubt has made some kind of an agreement with Turkey.

I believe God has a hand on the Kurds.

As Trump removes the Deep State, the wars around the world will come to an end for a while. The Feds and Central banks are supplying the money to keep the wars going for the purpose of bringing the countries down to their knees where the Deep State can take over control of all countries. That is what the new One World Order was all about. TRUMP HAS STOPPED THE ONE WORLD ORDER. It's not gonna happen until years later.

Without the deep State and the Democrats and the Fake News Media all we will be able to do is rejoice and spend our Gold backed Dollars.

So Turkey will have a very short window to bomb the Kurds.

Just like I said in my last comments. Everything that happens on this earth is a game. If you don't know how to play or the rules you know nothing about it.

The Border Wall is being used by Trump to throw off the Deep State as he closes in on them.

Both armies are using the Border Wall to distract from what they are really doing and to mainly stall for time.

The Deep State has to stall for time until Mueller can get the goods against Trump to impeach him because they are not having any luck with their assassination attempts.

The deep state used the caravans coming to the borders to distract from the campfires stated by the Deep State in California that was started to 1) create a state emergency so CA could get some funds from the government to help pay their bills, 2) Kill the people who knew too much about the deep state at the cost of billions of dollars, AND ALSO 3) so California could get away with their voter fraud. Trump was already prepared for that.

Trump has to stall for time because his authority to arrest "enemy combatants" doesn't go into effect until Jan 1, 2019.

All year long in 2019, as arrests are being made, they will squeal on other people involved with the deep state. Trump will then have to get indictments to arrest them under his executive order and National Emergency.

If every one stays calm and doesn't get in the way or cause civil disorder, they should be alright. If people go nuts they will shut down the electricity and put the people in a real disaster. I have been told to prepare for 6 months of no electricity but it has not been reported in the news media so...........?

When it's over there won't be wars going on. It will be a world of PEACE for a while until the Anti-Christ shows up. Everyone in America should prosper if they put forth some effort to better themselves. Our New Dollars will be worth a dollar's worth of GOLD!

TRUMP is full of LOVE for his GOD, his Country, our Constitution and our Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence. He loves our US Flag, State Flags and Military Flags and the people of all walks of life. By destroying the Deep State, and ending the Deep State's control in every Country, Trump is showing his LOVE for every Man, Woman and Child from and in every Nation.

Does Trump get Hateful now and then and get Mad, Threatening, ugly, stubborn, obnoxious and even down right Mean? Sure he does. He is Human but he is doing things behind the scene that no one sees or hears about. When you see and hear all the things Trump has been dealing with you won't believe you ears,

If you hate Trump then why do you feel like Trump shouldn't be hateful to anyone. Is everything okay for you, but Trump doesn't deserve to be a Human Being?

I feel sorry for the people who Hate Trump because they have no common sense. They are the ones who are going to scream the loudest when we are set free from the Deep State and the Central Banks. They won't know what all the excitement is all about. They well be looking at each other asking what is happening? What is all the Military doing in town? Where are all the people? Did I miss the Rapture? Where is my Husband or Wife, my son or daughter, father of mother? They went to work and never came home?

Or you are going to know some of these people. It's gonna be horrific.

Two will be in the mill. One taken and one left. Two in the field, one taken and one left. Two on the house top, one taken and one left. It's coming in January!!

It's pretty simple, cut and dry! 1,1,19. Some of the news medias may be shut down as well, so it may be hard to get the news. AND that's (if) the power hasn't been shut off! I can't tell everyone just how big this is gonna be.

Look at the T-G for example! Not a word! How do I know all this?

-- Posted by quietmike on Sun, Dec 23, 2018, at 8:03 PM
  • Well, the ISIS project is not part of the Syrian civil war initiative, and Obama is no longer around. So that is neither here nor there.

Trump did not "destroy" ISIS. The Kurds and other local allies ejected them from their tangible territorial holdings, with US assistance. ISIS is not destroyed, it has just been deprived of a home to call its own. This was hardly a Trump "accomplishment", unless he gets extra credit for not meddling with a strategy that was working when he took office. And I did not say we should necessarily have troops there. Just that we should not precipitously withdraw and leave the people who came to our assistance exposed.

We have lost enough lives in Syria and Afghanistan. It's time to bring our troops home.Isis is Russia, Syria and Iran's problem. Certainly Russia can handle Isis now without our help.

We the USA built Isis from nothing. The deep State put Isis in Iraq and Syria and John McCain financed them and helped them any way he could by his legislating as a Senator. Obama and Hillary started wars all over in the East and kept them going. Remember Obama ordering the pilots not to bomb Isis targets until they radioed in the targets and had to wait for a reply before bombing or returning with their bombs? Remember how ****** the pilots were when they were not allowed to do their job.

Remember when Obama made the troops go to the Muslim service instead of their own preferred religious services? Obama was a Muslim from the word go and a TRAITOR an Hillary is just as bad as Obama.

Trump has straightened out all that mess in Syria, Iran, Russia and Israel with ultimatums.

For all you people who think Trump is a loser, think about this. Remember 53-47? Remember Trump's plan to win the Senate? that's All Trump was looking for from the 2018 Elections.

This week the House voted to give Trump money for the border because they knew the Senate wouldn't vote for it.

It passed in the House but Trump shut down the Government so the Senate isn't voting on it. Trump is holding everything for when congress comes back on Jan 3rd when Trump's NEW Senators will be taking their seats in the Senate. Trump will then get the border wall passed in Jan.

How did the democrats not see that? Oh that's right, they are democrats. But they are proud Democrats because they won the House! Nothing gets finalized in the House. That is where all the bills are suppose to originate from. The Senate has to pass them and then the President approve them into law or vetoes them.

Again Trump is way ahead in the Game. At the same time, the Feds are about to lose to Trumps intelligence.

The Feds are raising the rates and causing the cost of everything to go out of site and the value of our money to fall. They are expecting to change the world currency, but Trump is going to beat them with GOLD. Gold is valuable where the federal notes are not. The world will go with the Gold, which the Feds don't have. Trump has the Gold.

The Kurds are not our true allies. They are just another Terrorist group fighting against Turkey and Syria created by the deep State to cause destruction in the East.

Trump has informed Turkey that if they attack the Kurds he will put serious sanctions against them.

Just so everyone knows, Trump had full intentions of Shutting down the Government until Jan 3rd or 4th. when congress is suppose to return to work.

    1) You can not arrest a congressman/congresswoman/congresscreature while they are in session. If the government is shut down... guess what? The congress is not in session and can be arrested.

    2) Trump's executive order and National Emergency doesn't go into effect until January 1, just a couple days BEFORE they come back to work.

    3) Trump can order certain Gov. employees to stay and work without pay or to come back to work during the Shutdown for the purpose of arresting them quietly.

    4) When the House does come back and most of the democrats don't show up, they will only think they didn't come back in because they didn't want to vote in favor of the Border Wall, when actually they will be on their way to Gitmo or just resigned and won't ever be coming back.

    5) The Border Wall money was already passed by the House so Trump's brand new 53-47 Senate will pass Trump's Border Wall Money.

    6) Trump had this all planned out months ago before the 2018 elections.

    7) Trump will use his 53-47 Senate to replace RBG on the supreme court.

    8) Trump will use his 53-47 Senate to shut down the Federal Reserve and Central Banks with Gold in 2019 during the up coming recession the Feds are causing.

AND Everyone thought Trump was stupid!

Trump is a Genus and way ahead of what's coming.

You just have to be smarter than what you are working with.

What does the MSM and the T-G say about the Gov. Shutdown? How do they explain the Gov. shutdown?

-- Posted by sui on Mon, Dec 24, 2018, at 1:03 PM
  • 2015, QM. We muddled around a long time before finding something that worked.... such as it worked. And it was not, technically, Obama that created the strategy. It was the military. He was at least smart enough to listen to people who understand what they are doing, rather than rely on whatever popped into his head..... ISIS people are still in Syria and Iraq, they just no longer hold much territory. In all honesty, I wonder if that mentality can ever be destroyed. When we have eliminated one group, it just crops back up under a different name.

I have been told by the WH Admin to prepare for 6 months of no electricity, water, Heat and food.

I see nothing in the news about it and no evidence for it.

Today after putting 2 and 2 together, I know what they are talking about.

We are heading for a recession. The Feds are raising the interests rates so it is killing the rising economy Trump created. This isn't Trump, but the Deep State. They control the economy and stock market with interests rates. They never raised the interests rates while Obama was in office. They have raised interests several time after Trump got into office.

    More on this later.

Also a big new system that will shut your power off whenever you least expect it and nothing you can do about it except pay more IS... Your New SMART METER. You are allowed to use only so much electricity then your smart meter will shut off the electricity to your home or business. So if you use more to Heat your home or use too many lights for the holidays, you may find yourself sitting in a dark, cold, home one night with no electricity to keep your food cold and your body warm. In the case of California, the Smart Meters didn't shut off when they started leaking and no one shut them off until after the fires destroyed homes, cars and people's lives. The people are coming together to help each other, but they should be coming together to hang the Mayors and Governor and their two Senators and all their Representatives . They committed Mass Murder by Gassing the people to death and burning the people alive as well, not to mention the damages caused.

    Just saying!

What is the MSM and T-G saying about the new Smart Meters and the Recession coming in 2019? This is BIG! And it's coming, very, very soon! This Kool Aid is getting Good!

Obama refused to take the intelligence briefing and would tell the people that he only found out about something when the news told everyone.

Obama also fired our best military Officers who would not agree to arrest and shoot Americans if asked to. He fired Military officers who tried to win against the terrorists and mainly Isis.

Who was telling Obama to do this? The Deep State Military was telling Obama what he could do and not do, our U.S. Deep State Globalist Military Intelligence.

    The Deep State consists of The Trinity of Globalist Control;

    Religion - Vatican City;

Finance - City of London; and

    Military - Washington, DC.

If you remember, Trump brought in his own Military Generals who are NOT Deep State, except for a couple to keep abreast of the Deep State. Remember Trump Telling LBR that he knew more than the Generals did? He was listening to his Military Generals who were out to destroy the Deep State Military and Globalist Gov.

That is what Trump meant when he said he was Proud to be a Nationalist and not a Globalist. He is destroying the Globalist government (Military) and arresting the corrupt Globalist Politicians.

Those who Trump are arresting are the corrupt Deep State Globalist Politicians and worse swamp creatures.

The local governments have all been infiltrated over the years by this corrupt "Trinity of Globalist Control" system aka "New World Order".

And with that I leave everyone with "Have a Safe and Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year".

    lazarus & Steve

Do your advertising in the southern hemisphere just before the Christmas holidays, because they celebrate Christmas in July when they get the cold snow and ice. It's warm down there at Christmas time and would probably look for some business or deals in Nov. thru Jan. that doesn't have any thing to do with cold weather or Christmas.

Well, I don't know if this will be the last laugh we get this year, but it sure is a doozy. The lame stream media-industrial-complex is wetting itself because some soldiers got the President to sign their hats. I'm still rolling on the floor over this one.

Here's another one. I was watching a Psychic show the other day and she said she didn't think George Bush Sr was executed because she couldn't find him any where! Guess he never crossed over or went straight to hell. She said she found John McCain, but not George HW Bush. You just can't make this stuff up. She said she saw Hillary sitting in a cell at Gitmo with a pen and pad and Obama was there also. That didn't surprise me.

Basically it is "Alice in Wonderland". Ever see it? Watch it and learn! It describes the Deep State vs the people. Another good reference is The Wizard of Oz.

Trump spoke out and said so many democrats will lose their seats because of voter fraud, that they will have to hold special elections. Trump taped the Voter Fraud prior to the 2018 voting. He has the proof of voter fraud and those elected by fraud will lose their seat. Gonna be a slow year getting started with all the special elections. That will give Trump a lot more time to arrest the corrupt politicians.

Trump says Pelosi, Schumer, Maxine Waters, Fienstein, Snipes and others will be going to Gitmo unless they are given a plea deal for helping.

This is HUGE! Has to be to go after the Queen of England and the Pope. Yep! Their going down too for Human Trafficking, murder, satanic sacrifices and cannibalism. You will all hear all about it much later. The deep state is going down all over the world. They are the reason for all the wars between the countries. Syria, Iran, N Korea, Iraq, Yemen, Libya Egypt. These countries are being freed from the deep state. PLUS in the middle of all this, Trump is taking out the Federal Reserve, Central Banks and the Internal revenue Service. Don't believe me, watch the stock market. The Feds are raising the interest rates to make it all crash. When it does Trump steps in with the Gold to put us back on the Gold Standard. Trump has it all planned out. He hasn't failed yet.

Wonder why the T-G Reporters don't know what is going on. This effects the local people also. This is the story of the century. It's already been written. See you back in Kansas!

    Lizard people don't really exist.

I don't talk about lizard people, however I do believe there are aliens on this planet. There are just way too many respectable, responsible, professional people who have seen them. That's good enough for me.

I have read security reports that claim they monitor the wars around the world. Some of our pilots have had to stand down because their officers at the base tell them not to engage. They claim we have lost every plane and pilot that tried to engage them.

You can believe it of not! That is not my concern. I believe in God and leave all the alien stuff to God. If I ever see one (up close) I am sure I will pray for my life til I run out of words or life.

My God is the God of all the heavens and universes not just our galaxy. I know God has created life on other planets. God is The Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. To create life on just one planet in all the heavens would be too elementary for God.

Aliens would be created by God since God creates all life forms. Some are good and I believe some are evil, just like the deep state.

The Bible speaks of aliens from outer space coming to Earth and destroying the armies of the world. I can't argue with that, since that is God's word.

Most people are simple minded and can't think outside of the box or won't.

Alice in Wonder land would be more easy to understand if it was named Hillary in the Deep State.

The Wizard of Oz is The Deep States Justice Depart. When you compare the Wizard of Oz to the Judicial System you will better understand how our Judicial system and courts operate.

That is, if you can think out of the box (Gov. Brain Washed Programing). Most people are conformed to the Governments way of thinking.

You have to get out of the box to know what is going on. Not to worry! Just sit back in your easy chair and watch all the politicians, CEOs and Social Media websites that will disappear next week, then think - Da da da du da da da du.

People all over the USA are having trouble calling 911 - Da da da du da da da du.

Hope everyone is prepared for the ride of their life. It's coming! Our Government will be shut down for a long while. Maybe T-G can tell you more about that? Nah, they are a family oriented newspaper that won't tell it like it is.

Like the thousands of people who've already been secretly arrested on sealed indictments?

Or is it more like the law against sawed-off shotguns not applying, but no one else knowing about it, and no demonstration to prove it is possible?

Claiming to have special knowledge no one else can know, and seeing things no one else can see is a symptom of something.

-- Posted by quietmike on Sun, Dec 30, 2018, at 7:51 PM

It is a symptom of keeping your head out of the sand and paying attention to what is going on around you. You should be able to relate the Wizard of Oz with the color of law!

Most of the arrests have been human Trafficking arrests and cannibalism, that the people are not ready to hear about when they find out who they are.

Their names will come out in the next 2 or 3 years as they round them up. We will be told their crimes also. It's like the law enforcement not broadcasting arrests until they have all of them so they don't run.

Also, Trumps Executive order authorizing him to arrest enemy combatants and trying them in Military tribunals doesn't go into law until Jan. 1, 2019 which is Tuesday morning. At least 30% of congress will be arrested before Jan 3rd, 2019. So many democrats will be removed from office that we will have to hold special elections to replace them.

You do not have to believe me, just watch for yourself. I may be wrong because I have been accused of drinking Kool Aid.

There is so much evil going on in this world that it's hard to believe it exists to this level that requires so many arrests.

Many of the truths has been "debunked" so the deep state believers can ignore the truth. They have been brain washing people for years so it's easy to believe the liars. Only people with common sense will know the truth and only if they have been paying attention.

It's going to be a living hell when the cellphones go down. People will go nuts and YOU Know it. People are going to be lost without them.

For example watch this; Ruth Bader Gingsberg fell. The doctors discovered cancer in her lungs when they operated on her. Now just weeks later her cancer is now in Stage 5.

This sounds like an execution coming up like John McCain and George H W Bush. Yes Ruth is Deep State and has to be arrested for Treason. As old as she is she will be put to death because she couldn't hold up to a Military Trial and execution.

SC Justice John Roberts was put in by George HW Bush as part of the Deep State. He is going to be removed as a deep state Traitor and sent to Gitmo, giving Trump two more Justices.

Again, don't believe me, just watch for yourself.

It's all just common sense when you watch what is going on.

Other people see these things not just me. I said it before. I know things that most people will never know in their lifetime.

However, a lot of this information will be exposed in the next few years if people are paying attention.

    fair share,

I did not say I hope everyone is prepared to "enjoy" the ride of their life. This will not be an enjoyable ride for anyone. After a couple months you may find out your enjoyable ride is not so enjoyable any more.

I do not Tweet so I don't read people's tweets unless they are in the news. I understand that a lot of the Big players have not Tweeted anything since Dec 24, 2018. That is very strange knowing how people can't stop Tweeting.

You don't think they have been arrested do you?

Another Tid bit for EVERYONE! The Stock Market is going to Crash and we will go into a recession this year (2019). Start stock piling your cash, food, water, medicine etc.. Stores will not be able to supply these things when everyone is out of everything. Shelbyville can't even stock up enough products to supple Bedford Co. during any week of the year.

I would keep my vehicles full of gas also, unless you like to sit in long lines. REMEMBER that?

    The enjoyale rides are over.

I am talking about a ride down the yellow brick road.

Everything can be great in your life and enjoy living it. I am talking about the Recession coming in 2019. The deep state is raising the interest rates that are killing the stock market and the cost of living will be going up. The deep State is trying to destroy America with one last Recession that they hope will get Trump impeached. Won't work cause Trump has put the blame on the Feds which he will take out as soon as the Market crashes and the economy falls into a recession. This is called a crash of the world currency or the Petro dollar.

The U.S. Dollar is being used by Saudia to sell Oil to all the countries. They have to use U.S. Dollars to buy oil, keeping our worthless paper money alive. That is the only thing keeping the Federal Reserve Note as the world currency.

All the countries will crash the same time America does, only Trump has a plan to pull us out of it at the last minute and make our money Great Again. (Backed by Gold).

No other President has been able to do this.

Have you ever gone to the Gross National Debt Calculator Online?

It hasn't been working for a while. Claims it is $Loading.

NOTICE: Due to a lapse in federal funding this website is not being updated.

Trumps executive orders gives Trump the power to take all of the funds and assets of the criminals he is arresting! George Soros, The Clintons and Clinton Foundation, Jeffery Epstein and his Little Saint James Island, hundreds of CEO in Human Trafficking, etc., etc..

All that money and the assets I believe are being calculated into the Gross National Debt and that is why it isn't showing the debt of the United States of America. I believe the debt will be erased by all the money Trump is going to take from these Traitors and Corrupt politicians, CEOs and the Main Stream Medias and reporters.

Between that and the Gold Trump stole back that the Bushes and Clintons sold, I think we may eliminate our US Debt, making our Money redeemable in Gold worth a fortune. All the countries will go on the gold standard again.

That doesn't go into the IRS and Central Banks in details of what he is doing. I will explain that in a later time and blog.

Jan 1st. Isn't that TODAY? What executive Order? What National Emergency? What Martial Law?

When does the rest of Congress come back to Work? About half of the house won't be returning. Dam those Democrats! Just when they finally WON the House and the democrats stage a no show. Looks like they'll be a Dollar short and a Day Late!

Sounds like a special election coming soon!

On the bright side of things, Trump is taking down the Rothchilds and the other 6 rich bankers, the Queen, the Vatican and the Central Banks. Do you realize the trillions of dollars Trump will seize from all these people? What Deficit?

PLUS Trump is going to stop world Hunger! Why would anyone hate someone like that?

    lets be real,

Atta Girl. That is what I am talking about. Don't take my word for anything. I am not running the World, I am only revealing what I hear. YOU must watch the news and then decide for yourself what is happening around you.

You have to ask yourself, why would the Deep State allow the Main Stream Media to report on their failures to Trump? Not gonna happen. Trump will tell us what he wants us to know when he is ready.

You never go to war with the enemy until you have already beaten them. Trump has to have all the proof in his hands before he exposes them to the public. Plus he must have an honest and trust worthy DOJ to do all the legal work.

Remember, these are just indictments. They are innocent until proven guilty by a court, so they can not be reported as criminals until it is proven. That is why Mueller doesn't have anything on Trump to arrest him. If he finds something he has to get a Grand Jury to Indict him, but not while he is sitting as president. Good Luck with that! If I am right, you will see very few Democrats in the house Wednesday morning.

The lights won't go out unless the deep state pays the Antifa and other Hate groups and Rioters like Black Lives Matter to sabotage Electrical Units or start fires. Those I believe will mainly be in larger cities that will make a difference. However you should be prepared just in case.

My cable went off a few years ago and when I called them I was told that the problem was caused by a problem in the power grid in Utah, so there is no way of knowing what will happen to who. It will all come out in the wash!

Are you watching the news? Nothing to see Today! News don't have much to say except for Trumps New Plan and they aren't smart enough to see it hapening right in front of their eyes.

Trump is begging for Pelosi and Chuckie to come back to the WH where Trump has been waiting for them to make a deal to open the Government.

The plan is this: Trump can now blame the Democrats for the Shut down continuing, because they wouldn't come back and work out a deal with him. He has stayed at the WH so he could work with them if they come back.

Dems Ain't gonna do it. They are on Christmas Vacation and Trump Knows it, but the people don't know why They won't work with Trump to open the Gov again so everyone can get paid.

Trump slammed Pelosi because she has the money to enjoy a holiday in HI while the gov employees can't even get paid for Christmas. They will hold Pelosi responsible for their lousy Christmas and food stamp Dinner. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?

The truth is... Trump wants to keep the government shut down until all the arrests have taken place in DC.

Trump knows if he tells them to come back because he wants to make a deal, they won't come back to DC. At least, not until Jan 3rd.

For those interested, Trump has revealed his plan for keeping the Government shut down for as long as he wants it shut down. Trump is way ahead of whoever is in second place.

Jan 1st Executive Order and National Emergency gives Trump 2 days to pick them out of the crop before they are in session again and can't be arrested. 2 full days with the Army, Navy and Marines picking up the filth could be done in 2 24-hr periods.

Most of the democrats were handed indictments and told to resign or go to a military Tribunal. They have already resigned and won't be showing up for the new session. They won the house, but now don't have enough Democrats to vote on anything.

Gonna be hard to impeach Trump on no charges and no democrats to vote for an impeachment.

The thing to remember is... Trump has STOPPED The New World Order. It's over, so all those things we have feared will not happen now. You know, FEMA Concentration Camps, Walmart Prisons, Agenda 21, etc., etc.. These things are now being used on the Deep State who created them for the people.

Also, without the Deep State ruling our Government and the other world governments, Wars will begin to stop all over the world. The people of these countries don't want war no more than we do.

Iran for example will go back to being Iran again like it was before the U.S. Secret Service Black Opps were created to disrupt the world Leaders and cause wars. Without Obama and Hillary in power now to take out the world leaders, things will get back to normal peace time.

North Korea has been freed from the control of the Deep State and ready to work with Trump to change its dictatorship to peace.

The World and everything in it is changing for the good.

During the Recession in 2019, we will go back on the Gold Standard which will make our Dollar worth a Dollar, whatever Congress will determine it is.

GOD, by using Trump, is changing the New World Order to a New World Peace.

  • I almost feel guilty for reintroducing the original topic, but I found this article very interesting. I think most of us are familiar with the google maps, that can be shifted back and forth between a satellite picture and a map... but probably take for granted the work a computer has to do for both options to be available...Obviously a computer can create the map from the satellite picture, but they wanted (for whatever reason) to have a computer able to create a "satellite picture" from a map. So they put that task to an AI.

The AI "solution?" hide the original picture in the map, so that it could reproduce it easily.... it gave the results it was asked to give, but did not learn a way to perform the task they were wanting it to figure out how to do... in a word, it "cheated." Maybe not the way we think of cheating. There was no willful deception involved. It is just that we did not define the task we asked it to do correctly. I just found it interesting, and thought provoking!

Maybe Trump isn't ready to arrest Pelosi and Schumer for treason. However, if Pelosi and Schumer are in DC on business, Trump can not arrest them under the law because that would be like in being session.

Tomorrow should tell the tale. If they call the roll and everyone is there then nothing is happening! Most of the Politicians won't get arrested. They will only have to resign and that may be at a future date. Some have already been approached and turned states evidence against others if they just resign.

Of course I heard that Trump may extend the gov shut down for an indefinite time while they hold special elections. That would mean Marshall Law. Remember, every thing has to be done by Constitutional Law.

AI seems to be really intelligent. I can load a color photo on my computer and when I remove the color a lot of things will disappear. When I bring the color back the objects reappear. Magic? I don't think so.

In order for this AI computer to work right it has to have very, very, very high resolution that home computers don't have.

Therefore it is just another spying device that would be created to allow the gov to go back to a deep state government that controls the people and things.

Just in, On Jan 1, 2019 50 Cabal agents were arrested and taken to Gitmo for Questioning for electronically stealing money from the Central Banks to make them cash faster. Trump was put in a bunker on the 1st to keep him safe. Of course Trump doesn't have to be present for the arrests to happen.

This story hasn't been verified yet. There is also another story out about someone trying to sell Q Currency during the Crash. Don't fall for that! .....Maybe my connection is tired of takin' chances

Yeah there's a storm on the loose, sirens in my head

Wrapped up in silence, all circuits are dead

Cannot decode, my whole life spins into a frenzy

Help I'm steppin' into the twilight zone

Place is a madhouse, feels like being cloned

My beacon's been moved under moon and star

Where am I to go, now that I've gone too far

Help I'm steppin' into the twilight zone

Place is a madhouse, feels like being cloned

My beacon's been moved under moon and star

Where am I to go, now that I've gone too far

Soon you will come to know

When the bullet hits the bone

Soon you will come to know

When the bullet hits the bone

I'm falling down the spiral, destination unknown

    Double-crossed messenger, all alone

Can't get no connection, can't get through, where are you

Well the night weighs heavy on his guilty mind

    This far from the borderline

    When the hitman comes

He knows **** well he has been cheated

    And he says

Help I'm steppin' into the twilight zone

Place is a madhouse, feels like being cloned

I posted that for the people who are conformed to the Deep State way of thinking, and there are a lot of you.

As the song goes - I will know, when the bullet hits the bone! The bullet hasn't been fired yet. Trump is taking his time for some reason. I know his plans when he reveals them but when he changes them I can't defend his delays. I will just have to stop informing everyone on what's happening. Everyone will know something is going on when it happens. Everyone will just have to let the Bullet hit the bone to find out.

As for the Sovereignty, I will never give that away because God gave me Sovereignty not any Government or Justice Department.

You on the other hand are a 14th amendment citizen so you don't have any sovereignty, because you are under the jurisdiction of the Federal Government and the State Government under which you reside. Oh yeah, you are under the Deep State also until Trump takes them all out, which he hasn't done yet. The Deep State does not obey the Laws of the land nor do they recognize anyone's constitutional rights. Civil Privileges in your case!

Rights, that police, attorneys, and judges also don't realize you have. So if you try to exercise them, you go to jail just like anyone else.

That's no different than any other mentally ill person who thinks they can fly by jumping off a building and flapping their arms... if only gravity recognized their "special powers".

You just rattled off the Deep State; police, attorneys, and judges that don't realize you have rights!

The deep state doesn't obey the law nor the U.S. Constitution.

Most of them have absolutely no idea what the Bill of Rights are and what the U.S. Constitution says. They do not go to a school that teaches Constitutional rights of the people and the constitutional laws that they must obey.

The U.S. Constitution isn't about giving anyone any rights. It is about PROTECTING Rights the people already had before any police, attorneys, and judges were ever created.

If you will just look at a copy of the U.S. Constitution some time in the future you could Read the very limited power that it gives to the Federal Government. Less than 15 powers were given to the Government.

Then the U.S. Constitution goes on the tell us "That No State Can". Yes it actually details all the rights of the people that the States Must Not Violate. The punishment for doing so is suppose to be harsh, but the deep state does not allow the courts to punish the deep state operators.

READ IT **** IT if you are going to talk about people's rights. You know nothing about constitutional rights and 5th amendment privileges.

Just so you know: Amendment X

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."

This gives the States extra powers they have over 14th Amendment citizens and Gov. employees, but doesn't give them any new powers over the Sovereign people (if they know their rights).

I don't say I have rights that no one else has. I only say I have rights that other people know nothing about or how to protect their rights.

If you don't know what your rights are, how can you use them? A Lawyer or Attorney can not protect your rights. They must be claimed by a beligerant claiment in person.

When a judge sits before you and demands you hire an attorney, he has just violated your right to due process and must dismiss the case (IF) you know your rights. If the judge doesn't he has committed Treason, not that he will ever be tried for it.

Police, attorneys, and judges work for the courts. They like to think that is the State court, but actually it isn't. All courts are foreign agencies and police, attorneys, and judges are foreign agents working for the foreign agency. Every Gov. agency has been given to the United Nations which is a foreign corporation and only has jurisdiction over International Corporations, not people.

If you are going to work for them and protect them, you need to read up on them and find out WHO and WHAT you are working for.

You see, YOU are a conformed person who has been conformed (brain washed) to believe whatever the deep state says.

In 1950, the 81st Congress Investigated the Lawyers Guild and determined that the B.A.R. Association by definition is founded and run by communists. Thus any elected official that is a member of the B.A.R. will only be loyal to the B.A.R. entity and never have allegiance to the people.

For the brain dead, that means every court and court personnel are prejudice against the defendants and in favor of the court or State. There and not be any fair trials in these courts and must be dismissed for denying you due process, (IF) you know and protected your rights.

If you are going to work for them and protect them, you need to read up on them and find out WHO and WHAT you are working for.

And when the hit man comes

He knows **** well he has been cheated

    And he says

Help I'm steppin' into the twilight zone

Soon you will come to know, when the bullet hits the bone.

Rights you're unwilling or unable to exercise are useless.

Rights you are unable to claim and protect are not rights.

A right can also be the right not to exercise a right.

eg. You have a right to bear arms. You also have to right not to bear arms if you choose so.

You have the right to remain silent, however many people have been beaten almost to death or teased to death by cops for not talking to them.

You think THAT is the law or Justice?

I have answered all your questions about sovereignty. It just went over your head.

Soon you will come to know, when the bullet hits the bone.

P.S. Hillary Clinton, Hussein Obama, Michael Obama, Brennan, Comey and McCabe in GITMO. NOW that's Justice! Koolaid.

    1) I can't get too upset about the people the cops teased to death. They were weaklings that forgot the childhood mantra of "sticks and stones ". That is just Darwin doing a little gene pool cleaning.

    2) The lyrics to Twilight may be ok for dissing sui, but the only good thing to come out of Golden Earring was Radar Love.

    3) There is one kind of citizen. All of us have the same rights. Even if the courts or fancy nancy or crying chuckles say we don't.

    4) Speaking of nancy and chucky, I wonder why they bothered coming back from vacation since keeping the government shut down is more important to them than providing funding for our security. Perhaps they prefer vigil ante border security.

    5) Those who are afflicted with the "Trump's not my president" delusion shouldn't be putting $1.85 gas in your car.

You've copied nonsense from fringe websites.

When challenged to show the wording in the actual case decisions, you couldn't.

Again, if "sovereign" people have rights that cops and judges don't recognize, then they are utterly useless if exercising those "rights" will land you in the same prison as everyone else.

FWIW-Claiming to have special knowledge or powers that no one else does, or can't even understand, is a classic symptom of mental illness.

  • 1) People cops teased to death? Is this another "outrage" that I am missing?

    2) Radar Love; Bullet Hits the Bone... Both Good!

    3) Only one kind of citizen. But a lot of confusion about rights.

    4) Just because Trump calls it "Border Security" doesn't mean a wall will make us more secure. The whole thing has really gotten silly. It was silly as a campaign promise, but I figured he was appealing to people without a lot of practical knowledge. We need "Border Security", but we could spend our money where it would actually help. Lately I started to wonder if Trump actually took his wall seriously... but, I realize this is just another ploy to fire up his famous "base." The man is nothing but a politician... devoid of any substance.

    5) Trump is as responsible for $1.85 gas as he is the sunrise. It is the product of (and I hate to say it, because I know we are not supposed to respect science any more) scientists figuring out how to access oil that we did not used to be able to use. This all came on line, and production started to increase, under Obama (who is not responsible for $1.85 gas, either.)

Nice to see the dums found their way back to DC. Not sure why they interrupted their vacation since they still prefer having government shut down to having to do their job and protect our country. Maybe they went for the parties. Did anyone hear what happened at the moveon.org party? The first mooselip-uterine-unamerican congresscant (read as you will but it is written as a contraction of the words "can" and "not" implying she can not seriously be trying to participate in real government for real Americans) gave a speech about impeaching Trump (despite lack of even a scintilla of evidence to support impeachment) and called our President a emefer.

About what I would expect out of the classy dimwit party. I'm not wishing that anyone dies, tho we all will some day. But my feelings wouldn't be hurt she that crazy cant (again, read as you desire, but it was written as a contraction of the words "can" and "not") went back home to MI and dropped. Any state crazy enough to elect her should keep her for themselves instead of making the rest of the country have to put up with her.

I seriously doubt any cop anywhere ever teased anyone to death. But sui said it so I went with it. Maybe he ment "tased", but how do we ever know?

You and I have a little difference in musical tastes.

Definitely a lot of confusion about our rights.

I know there are claims of "experts" saying we don't need a border barrier. Never have seen these "experts" identified on seen them actually saying that. I have seen many different professionals that work on the border every day say it does work where we have it and we need it where we don't have it.

We are now energy independent for the first time in a long time. Is it all due to Trump? No. R and D and scientific progress occurs despite who is in the White House. Is a lot of it due to Trump? Yes. By taking some of the chains off business. But I know Trump can't be allowed to have credit for anything good that he does. He's only allowed credit for bad, even if he didn't do it.

I'm sure if Trump came out with an announcement this afternoon that he has cured cancer, the MSM headline would be "Trump Puts Thousands of Cancer Doctors Out of Business!".

There's always the democrat standards of avoiding responsibility and getting freebies.

Pretty telling when it looks like Bernie the bum, Beto, and the bug-eyed waitress are the standard bearers for the DNC.

What secure facility or area doesn't use walls or barriers of some kind?

Do prisoners stay incarcerated, not because of the walls, but because they suddenly realized the error of their ways?

Dems didn't flinch over authorizing 46 billion being spent on border security in 2013, yet even that amount of spending didn't fix the problem.

    fair share,

You are right about one thing: A citizen of the United States is a citizen of the federal government.

    Kitchens v. Steele

    , 112 F.Supp 383

That means everyone who is a citizen of the "US" (a Foreign Corporation) IS a citizen of the Corporate United States and subject to its Federal jurisdiction.

The Federal Government never had authority over citizens until the 14th amendment gave the slaves and people in the Territories to our Government.

See Article I Section 8. The United States is Washington, DC and does NOT include the 50 states.

"There is in our Political System, [two governments] a government of the several states AND a government of the United States. Each is distinct from the other and has citizens of its own." - U.S. v. Cruikshank, 92 U.S. 542, 23 L. Ed 588

This tells us there are two classes of citizens - Federal Citizens - These are people living in DC, and the U.S. Territories. These people are U.S. Citizens. and subject to the jurisdiction of the Federal Government where Congress has the power to legislate for them in ANY WAY they want to without constitutional restrictions and limitations.

However, The citizens of the 50 Sovereign (s)tates are not under the jurisdiction of the Federal Government (or Congress) like the 14th amendment Federal citizens.

People are supreme, not the state. See: Waring v. the Mayor of Savannah , 60 Georgia at 93

Two different classes of citizens and two different Laws. One is under Federal Law and the other is under Common Law.

Want more Proof? read: Julliard v. Greenman, 110 U.S. 421

What is wrong with you? You are talking about a Muslim woman congress thing. She comes from Michigan where the Muslim state elected her just like they did their mayor and probably Governor. Michigan is turning Muslim now.

But then that is what I said before. If you let all these aliens come into our country, they aren't happy being in the FREE WORLD with rich benefits. They want to change our country to another Muslim country. Why id they come to America if they don't like it?

Oh I know why, they want to live in a FREE Muslim Country where the people are brain dead and could care less what happens to their country or who comes in.

Soon we will have some southern Mexican states that will change our congress too. First they get elected by the majority of the aliens in the states and then run for Senators. A silent take over because the American people don't see the damage it will cause.

Two types of citizens. Those of us born here of US citizens, not necessarily including anchor babies, and foreigners that become naturalized thru the citizenship process. We are all subject to the laws of our areas of residence: city, county, state, and country. From sea to shining sea. No one can avoid the authority of the state or the Feds just by telling the judge "It doesn't apply to me because I'm special". No matter how "special" you really are. And I'll have to agree, sui, you are special.

Just curious. Did anyone get one of those big tins with three different flavors of popcorn in it? Pretty cool the way they have different flavors but keep them all separated. You may be wondering how in the world they can do that. Very simple really. It is with the magic of barriers. Why? Because barriers work.

Yeah, I misspelled Tased. I quess my bionic fingers malfunctioned. I caught it right after I saved it, but too late. I was just impliing that even Tasing someone can kill them, because they just keep on squeezing the trigger. I had heart surgery so they tell me I have Heart disease. If you tore my body apart to put a bypass in, my heart should be in A-One shape not left with a Heart disease. I also was discovered to be carrying Asthma, emphysema, COPD, Diabetes and arthritis in this body of mine. So just a little shock wave from a Taser would probably kill me and none of you would be able to hear from me again. I look at that as MURDER because the cops don't give a **** what might be wrong with you when they shoot you with a Taser. I can't eat anything that has pepper on or in it either. What would that do to me in a cop shot streams of pepper spay in my face?

Sui, I'm sorry you have so many health problems. CABG bypasses the diseased arteries, it doesn't cure coronary artery disease. You certainly are at more risk of dying from being tased than a healthy 20 year old punk. The way to reduce that risk is to avoid putting yourself in the position to be tased. Follow the laws, even the ones you don't think apply to you. If you do get stopped by a cop, be cooperative. Don't get aggressive with them. And don't bring up that Sovereign Citizen malarkey with them. The cops probably don't give a **** what medical problems their tasing victims have. At the time of the tasing, I suspect the only **** they give is bringing the situation under control. Therefore, avoid the tasing by staying in control.

  • Prisons and popcorn boxes? Those are analogous to national borders? Well, actually not at all. Prisons are used to confine a relatively small number of people in a small area. And popcorn boxes??? You might be surprised to find out that popcorn is not particularly mobile, and seems to lack any real ambition to cross barriers (or, for that matter, to move at all.) Pour water into one of the popcorn sections, and see how well those walls confine it...then you will have an analogy to Trump's border wall.

We already have walls in populated areas, where they serve a purpose. They are not impregnable. It is impossible to build a wall that cannot be breached, and it is an exercise in self gratification to pretend that it is. Across vast deserts, the most effective form of border defense is electronic. Electronic surveillance, adequate manpower, and a system of roads that allow rapid deployment would create as close as you can get to an impregnable barrier. A wall might sound really cool, sort of like building a castle. But it is only an expensive and pointless waste of resources. I don't know how many of you have ever walked across a desert, but I have. The number one thing you are when crossing a desert is exposed. For a long, long time... In Idaho I passed thru an area where we perform nuclear research. There was no wall protecting the boundary, only a little yellow sign posted about every 100 feet. There was not a single structure within sight of the road. And within sight in the desert is a long way. Security was there within 5 minutes of my crossing the boundary. After determining what my purpose was (no one crosses that desert on foot!) they just told me to stay on the road, and that if i went beyond the yellow signs I would be in federal custody before I could travel 100 yards. Seems odd that we can protect a highly classified nuclear research facility (and certainly a potential terrorist target) without walls, but we can't use the same technology to stop border crossers.... cheaper and more effectively than any wall.

One of the points that Trump keeps repeating is that we have to stop the flow of drugs across the border. Well, the truth is that 90% of the drugs are getting thru ports of entry. Why? First, hauling it across the desert is slow, and exposed.Contraband and illegal immigrants are much more likely to be interdicted trying to enter the US across the desert, than thru a port of entry. Second, we are hopelessly understaffed with customs officers. Many ports of entry have been upgraded with enough lanes to handle the current flow of traffic. However, a shortage of manpower leaves many of those lanes closed, and much of the traffic passing thru with inadequate inspection. Just how stupid is it to focus our spending on an ineffective defense against 10% of the influx, while 90% of it flows thru unimpeded because we have not allocated resources to stop it?

Problem solvers solve problems. Politicians take actions that will fire up their supporters. The imagery of Trump's wall may excite the imagination of his fans, but it is next to useless for the problems it is supposed to solve. Even worse, it diverts resources that are needed for actual, effective border defense.

I'm not claiming any special powers/abilities, just using common sense.

    fair share,

How do you think I have survived all these years? As a sovereign, I govern my actions. I don't deliberately break any laws that would get me arrested. That would be very stupid as the cop doesn't know the law. He only knows certain codes. I am polite and respectful when I get pulled over or stopped for road blocks. They are just doing their job so I don't make it any harder for them. When they ask me if I am on any drugs, I just say yes sir. I let him know they are VA Drugs I take for being an old man. They just chuckle and tell me to move on.

I tell people I am a sovereign, not an idiot. It is everyone else who calls me an idiot, because they don't realize they may be sovereign also, but I don't mind because I know things they don't.

QMike thinks I am crazy because I show respect to officers of the law and don't do some kind of magic feat in front of cops to prove I am a sovereign. That has to be done between being arrested and going to court. Just for an exam. every time you fly, you are waiving all your rights to board and fly on that plane. I look at it as it is Federal Aviation so they have the jurisdiction over the people who use their service. However there is a limit to the rights they can

violate. fair share, are you sure your not a sovereign? Sovereign must govern himself or control as you put it. You don't argue with someone who doesn't know anything about it, except on the blogs. I only try to make people research it for themselves, but they only use events where the victim didn't fully understand what a sovereign is and how they should conduct themselves. If the law doesn't name you as a person liable, you have nothing to worry about. Have it thrown out before you Go to court.

I mentioned a few days ago that he border wall was just a game Trump is playing. It does have a purpose but still, it is a game.

Trump is using the border wall to shut down the government while he does other things. Remember! When the government is focusing on something there is something else going on.

Trump got the money for the wall back in October 2018.

Trump is letting the truth come out. He wants the people to see that Pelosi and Schumer are refusing to give the money for securing the wall to keep aliens out as well as criminals and drugs. The wall is for National Security against Caravans and the enemy. When thousands of people invade your country, it becomes a **** hole country. Look what they did to Tijana, Mexico. They trashed it in just a few days and had to be run out. The town could not afford them. Too many. The same would be true in America if we let them come in. Then you have all the children and women who are kidnapped and sold to human Traffickers (the DEEP STATE)in the USA. Thousands of children have crossed into the US and vanished.

Pelosi and chuckie know this and are okay with it. They don't want Trump to build the wall because it will ruin their Deep State human trafficking plans. They say it isn't needed. Trump is keeping the gov shut down so Pelosi and Chuckie can keep telling the people they don't want a wall.

trump could open the gov back up and build the wall with what he has, but he wants the truth to come out. The people will vote for Trump for trying to protect the border and the people won't vote for the democrats who want the aliens to flood in and bring their diseases with them.

The people are waking up to what is going on with the border wall. As the people wake up he can reveal other crimes they are doing to wake them up to more corruption.

Now you have a good idea there Las, The only thing is if you went beyond the yellow sign, you may have never been heard from again.

That would be like putting troops on the border with No Trespassing signs. When they come across our border, who knows???

Making the popcorns' backs wet? Sounds like racist talk to me. Water can be separated into separate sections, just takes a better barrier than for popcorn. That's nice that we have ways of catching the bad people at ports of entry. Now if we could only figure out a way to force the flow through those ports. Of course manpower and technology are part of the solution. But unless we have enough manpower to stand shoulder to shoulder along the entire length of the border, they will still come through the unmanned areas. It seems as if we have a problem that has 3 separate but interdependent solutions. We can pour unlimited money, blood, sweat, and tears into two of them, but until we address the third, we might as well send out engraved invitations.

Here's a project for you woodworkers out there. Go build a 3 legged footstool. But just put 2 legs on it. If you spend enough time and effort on it, and make the best **** legs possible, you can make it work. And if you can't, lazarus may be able to help. If he isn't out wandering around the great sand ocean.

-- Posted by fair share on Sun, Jan 6, 2019, at 7:14 AM
  • Well, a 3 legged stool would work better than a one legged stool. However, the "wall" is not even necessary to secure the border. Before we can pretend to be serious about curbing illegal immigration, we have to do something about the magnet that draws them in the first place. As long as they are employed with relative impunity (including by Trump's hotels and resorts), the immigrants will find a way here. No politician seems willing to tackle that one. Beyond that are a series of measures streamlining and improving our system of handling immigration. On that list, altho nowhere near the top would be "border security", and far down the list of measures to protect the border would come the silly wall. It is just a symbol, not a practical measure. This is not just my opinion. Nor is it a liberal opinion.... unless you define liberal as being more interested in results than symbolism.

"To many conservative activists who have pressed for decades for sharp reductions in both illegal and legal immigration — and some of the Republican lawmakers who are allied with them — a physical barrier on the border with Mexico is barely relevant, little more than a footnote to a long list of policy changes they believe are needed to fix a broken system."

"The majority of undocumented immigrants are people who overstay visas, not people who sneak across the border"

"Border Patrol agents on the front lines said they needed more technology and additional personnel to curb illegal immigration and drug traffic, with less than one half of one percent mentioning a wall."

"While most Republicans refuse to say so publicly for fear of angering Mr. Trump, many share the view that the wall is only a piece — and nowhere near the most important one — of a broader set of actions needed to overhaul the immigration system, including cuts to legal immigration, tighter standards for granting asylum and better enforcement."

"NumbersUSA, another conservative group that presses for stricter immigration policies, circulated an article last month suggesting that Mr. Trump drop his wall demand in favor of a plan to mandate that all employers use E-Verify, an electronic system that checks immigration status for prospective employees. The wall “has sucked political capital from the pursuit of other, and arguably better, means to deter illegal immigrants,” wrote Heather Mac Donald of the Manhattan Institute."

The wall “has sucked political capital from the pursuit of other, and arguably better, means to deter illegal immigrants,” wrote Heather Mac Donald of the Manhattan Institute."

How well would that work with sanctuary cities and states who already openly defy the law?

How loud would liberals howl if Tennessee declared itself a sanctuary state in regards to gun laws?

Well, laz, I've been a fan of demagnitize ever since Uncle Phil started talking about it years ago. I have no problem with any of the other things you say need to be done. What I have a problem with is picking one thing (because Trump is for it) and saying that won't work and we can't do it. What has changed since the left was voting money for the wall? Trump got elected, partly due to being for completing the wall. Ask Israel how much illegal immigrant terrorism they have had since they put up their wall. I'm not sure what border patrol agents you listen too, but the ones I hear talking are for the wall, as part of a comprehensive program.

Maybe woodworking isn't up your alley, so let's try this. Assume you have a terminal condition if left untreated. There are several different things that need to be done to treat your condition. It needs 100% of the treatment to cure it. You may be satisfied treating 90% (or 95%, or 99%) and say "to hell with the last little 10% (or 5%, or 1%), this is good enough for me". OK, but it ain't good enough for me.

'"The majority of undocumented immigrants are people who overstay visas, not people who sneak across the border"'

Posted by lazarus, original source unknown

How do we know the majority overstay visas? That would require knowing how many undocumented illegals we have. The best we can do is know how many illegals we know about. How many do we not know about?

The border wall solution = a new Congress.

The newly elected House Democrats came to work last Thursday and swore in.

This is what they accomplished on their first day after all that bragging.

First 24 hrs of democrats in power:

-Filed articles to impeachment of Trump

-Introduced a bill to kill the Electoral College

-Passed bill to fund government without the Border Wall

-Voted unanimously to go home just 4 hrs after taking the job

Who's worried for our country? It sure isn't the Democrats!

The Democrat Spending Bill Offers $12 Billion more for Foreign Aid, $0 for Our Border Wall.

Democrats want to pay for abortions in other countries but not pay for the wall.

Trump has the money to complete the wall, but he is stalling so the people will wake up and see what the democrats are doing. The hell with our protection, but send money to Mexico and other countries as Aid.

What are the democrats thinking? Oh that's right! They can only think about impeaching Trump.

Trump on the other hand has to find a way to wake the people up to what is going on with the FBI, DOJ, NSA and the MSM.

The MSM (working for the Deep State) will not report on Trumps Wake-up Call, so Trump has to Wake the People up to the Truth His Way.

For all you Fake News believers, John F. Kennedy, Jr. is suppose to come back alive this Spring. I hear the month of April or whenever Hillary and her gang are in GITMO, when it will be safe for him to resurface without the fear of assassins. He also claims he wants to be the President after Trump steps down. I believe he may be Trumps Vice President and will take over when Trump steps down in 2021-2023.

Sui, you are starting to confuse me. A while back you said shillary was already at Gitmo. Now she's not going until April? Anyway, speaking of JFK, Jr. got me thinking about John Denver. And his hit song "Oh, God, I'm An Ocean Buoy". That was a good song.

On a different note, can any of you socialists out there answer this question? Why did the mouse die in the mousetrap?

As I hear it, Hillary has been arrested. She still has to stand Trial (military Tribunal). There are suppose to be hundreds in Gitmo by now. I guess they are giving themselves some leeway to make sure the Clinton Assassins are executed also before he jumps out in public.

Speaking of Artificial Intelligence, seems like one or more Shelbyville Fast Food Businesses are going with the new AI to take your food orders. I wonder just how many people will actually get what they thought they ordered?

The good thing about it that LBR might like is it will take a lot of employees off part-time jobs, lol. Just like them to give employees a raise then fire them to use AIs. I think I brought that up in one of the earlier blogs about businesses giving employees a $7+ raise.

Did I just say that? shame on me. Those employees will just get fired. They are keeping one employee on duty at a near by table for us people who don't like to trust machines to feed us. Progress? I hope there are a lot of machines to take orders or they will get all the orders mixed up. With all the money they will save with the AL they will be able to give the AI machines a raise. If they don't the AI's may lock the doors and take over the fast food joints.

Looks like no answers to my question. I'm sure Steve and quietmike know, but they aren't socialists. I suspect some really know the answer but don't like it so won't say it out loud. But there may be some out there that really don't know the answer so I'll give it to you.

Here is one better than that:

    December 13, 2018

Charges against 19 Defendants For The Sex Trafficking Of Minor Girls And Young Women In New York State's "Child Welfare System".

    19 people got life sentences.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe.

You take the Red Pill, you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

The New York State's Child Welfare System was taking the children away from the parents and forcing them into Human Trafficking.
