    Sorry for your loss, Steve.

  • Thanks fair share. She has had tumors ever since she was abandoned on our road. That could be why someone dropped her.

We thought that might eventually get her and our vet agrees that it probably caused her to slip away. She has been on pain meds for years so this may have been a release.

She was able to enjoy the remainder of her time here because you gave her a good home and companionship. Too many good dogs don't get that opportunity.

Always hard to say goodbye to a family member, but you can feel good knowing she was happy because of you.

  • Thanks RV. She was a loyal member of our family and sometimes defended it at her peril.

  • Oh how we get attached to the animals and how it hurts when they leave. Knowing we did everything we could to give them a good life is what we have to hang on to. I know you have lots of love left to give to the ones that are here! HP

  • With all we have HPP it is spread thin but they must get a sense of our love for them.

We thought we had a kitten adopted but the lady brought her back because she became despondent and would not eat. As soon as he got back home she was herself and eating just fine.

It might have been different if we could have convinced them to take another one but the most likely would have been my recent miracle baby and I might have become despondent and stopped eating. LOL

  • At that age PITA earned her name. She was continuously tearing things up and at her size it could be epic.

One of my favorite pics was of her with paws on top of one of our house cats and acting like “what cat?”
