  • With my supply of wood chips I hope to not till again, but the rain is job security for the tractor, keeping the driveway passable.

  • Here are some benefits of the soil blocker in general. After last year and even now I have all kinds of plastic trays. Most of them will be disposed of after I get my blocker. Yeah!

    If anyone reads this and wants to know the recipe for the soil, numerous discussion are on the internet, but if you want to discuss it here .... fire away.

    • Eliminates the need for plastic trays

    • Decreases likelihood of transplants becoming root-bound, as increased air flow between blocks "air prunes" roots

    • Creates healthier, more vigorous transplants due to oxygenated roots

    • Reduces transplant shock
