Thomas Cathey, a resident at Glen Oaks who struggles, particularly, with his speech was recently gifted with a tablet to assist his communication skills. This was done due to the work of Bob Hudson and Geoff Gisemann (Farelane Church of Christ). Glen Oaks is working to build a team of pastors to spend time with residents who just want to talk. Cathey happens to be the first "fruit" of this effort, as with Gisemann's talks and Bob's generosity, he now can communicate easier. Also, he was recently baptized. "I have happily watched his life and behavior and mood change for the best," said Daniel Richmond, Glen Oaks administrator.
