First Choice Pregnancy Counseling Center held its annual Fish Fry and Auction fundraiser on Saturday, drawing a large crowd in spite of less-than-perfect weather. The event raises more than half of the center’s funding for the year, and it’s one of the largest and best-attended individual fundraisers for any not-for-profit in the county. The center, located on Madison Street, sees 50-60 clients each week, offering free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds, and free pregnancy and parenting education programs.
