Road Superintendent Mark Clanton recently released the county’s current pothole patching plan.
“The Highway Department has patched potholes on over 200 roads since the first of February and crews are still patching until we have covered the county road system. This will take some time to complete with over 700 miles of roads we have in the County road system,” Clanton recently stated.
He said drainage crews are working on road side drainage in areas. Crews are also working in the Flat Creek toward the Wheel area and then onto the Unionville area.
