NOTICE
Pursuant to section 67-5-508, Tennessee Code
Annotated, the property assessment records of
Bedford County will be available for public inspec-
tion at Suite 301, 3rd floor of the Bedford County
Annex Bldg., during normal business hours. Any
person desiring to inspect these records may do so
at the appointed time and place.
The Bedford County Board of Equalization will be-
gin its annual session to examine and equalize the
county assessments on June 2, 2025. THE BOARD
WILL ACCEPT APPEALS FOR TAX YEAR 2025
ONLY UNTIL THE LAST DAY OF ITS 2025 REGULAR
SESSION, WHICH WILL BE June 4, 2025. The board
will meet each weekday from the hours of 9 to 12:00
and 1 to 3:00 at the Bedford County Courthouse 1
Public Square (former first floor courtroom.)
Any owner of property who wishes to make a
complaint or appeal to the County Board of Equal-
ization should make an appointment between the
dates of May 19, 2025-May 30, 2025 to appear before
said Board by personal appearance or by personal
appearance of an agent for the owner bearing the
owner’s written authorization. Failure to appeal an
assessment may result in the assessment becom-
ing final without further right or appeal.
