Clifford “Cliff” Leverette, age 70, of the Cedar Grove Community, died Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Murfreesboro, TN.
Born in Chapel Hill, TN, Mr. Leverette was the son of the late James Elroy and Mayme Slaughter Leverette. Cliff worked as a supervisor at Holt Specialty Equipment. He loved the outdoors, whether fishing, mowing grass or watching dirt track racing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Leverette is preceded in death by: son, Charles Leverette; sister, Barbara Reynolds; brothers, Allen Leverette, Sr.; step-grandson, Jeremy Tomlin, and a great-granddaughter, Briley Leverette.
Mr. Cliff is survived by his wife of 11 years, Tina Leverette of the Cedar Grove Community; daughters, Angela West of Shelbyville, TN, Amy (Paul) White of Unionville, TN; step-son, Shawn (Megan) Mooneyhan of Shelbyville, TN; sisters, Sandra Jenkins of Cambridge, IL, Wilma Gonzales of Cambridge, IL; brothers, David Leverette of Galva, IL, Larry Leverette of Galva, IL, Kevin Leverette of Cambridge, IL; grandchildren, Justin West, Austin West, Tristan White, Hunter White; step-grandchildren, Paul White, Jr., Kaitlyn White, Chloe Mooneyhan, Jaylynn Mooneyhan, and Makenzi Redman, great-grandchild, Arizona Leverette; family by marriage, Daniel West of Shelbyville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Leverette will be held Wednesday December 9, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill. Funeral Services will be conducted from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home at 2:00PM. Burial will follow at Cothran Cemetery.
