WINCHESTER — For the first time since August 10, the Community golf squads played a match.
On Tuesday, the Purple and Gold faced off against Hampshire at Bear Trace.
Community was led by the consistent play of Logan Miller, who shot a team-low 42.
Braxton Thompson and Sttratton Lovvorn each carded a 59 while Cason Neill shot a 68 for the final varsity score.
As a team, the Vikings shot a 228, while Hampshire won the match with a 194.
For the girls, Haley Mitchell turned in a 66, with Sara Brooke Neill carding a 68.
Breanna Whitaker also played on Tuesday and finished with a 69.
