David Lynn Pierce, 65, of Shelbyville died Monday, January 17, 2022.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 22, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Rev. Dwayne Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Wright Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m.
He was born March 12, 1956 in Lincoln County; was a retired employee of Calsonic and a member of the Church of God. David was well known for his “train whistle imitation.” He was preceded in death by his father, Bert Smith Pierce.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Edith Bevels Pierce; son, Brandon Pierce (Bobbie); brothers, Dwayne Pierce (Donna), Monte G. Pierce; grandchildren, Wyatt Pierce, Brodi Xander Pierce, Amara Jean Pierce and a uncle, Ron Bevels (Judith).
