SHELBYVILLE — Shelbyville Central just couldn’t match Tullahoma’s offensive production on Tuesday night.
The Lady Wildcats hit double figures in all four quarters and despite the Eaglettes rallying for 20 points in the fourth quarter, Tullahoma coasted to a 57-35 win over Shelbyville.
Tullahoma spread its offense among nine players, despite putting just one in double figures.
The Lady Wildcats jumped out to a 10-3 lead in the first quarter and stretched its advantage to 14 points by halftime with a 23-9 lead.
That trend continued into the third quarter as Shelbyville mustered up just six points, including one field goal by Lanaya Young.
The Eaglettes went on a 20-16 run in the fourth frame, with Young tallying in 10 more, but couldn’t over come the early-game struggles.
Young led all scorers with 18 points, while Sammie Brown and Paige Blackburn each scored five apiece.
The Eaglettes were back on the road on Friday night with another non-district game at Siegel.
