Evelyn M. Davidson, age 90, of Shelbyville, passed from this life Sunday, December 18, 2022, at her home.
Visitation will begin at noon Sunday, January 22, 2023 followed by the funeral at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Rev. Dr. Jim Moran officiating.
Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church for several decades. She worked as a seamstress for The Drapery Cottage.
A native of Bedford County, she spent her earlier life in Deason and graduated from Bell Buckle High School.
Evelyn Molder Davidson was born on April 7, 1932, to the late Jasper Homer and Beatrice Hayes Molder. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by beloved husband of 60 years, William A. Davidson, brother, Jasper “Jack” Molder, Jr., a nephew, Steve Allen Molder, and Jerry Davidson.
Survivors include: children, Daniel (Dan/’Danny’) Davidson of Donelson and Brenda K. Davis of Milton; grandson, Jeffery A. and wife Megan Davis of Smyrna; great-grandchildren, Arlo Davis and Levi Davis; sister-in-law Emma Jean R. Molder, wife of her late brother; nieces include Terry Lynn M. King, wife of Paul King of Murfreesboro. A host of beloved cousins and in-laws remain.
