Bell Buckle no doubt knows how to throw a community party. This weekend is a good example. The town will host its Old Fashioned BB Halloween Party on Friday, Oct. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. on the town square.
Activities will include games, a haunted house and pumpkin carving. Food trucks will also be available. Hotel Transylvania is scheduled to play at 7:30 p.m.
Sliding next-door from Bell Buckle over to Wartrace, the community will find a bake off and chili supper on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is at Ayers Park. The movie, “Ghostbusters” will be shown after sunset.
Over in the south eastern section of Bedford County, Raus, there will be a bonfire on Saturday at the community club. The event begins at dusk and is part of the monthly meeting.
