Detective Sgt. Chris Brown of the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office inspects a pickup truck after a 41-year-old man was found unresponsive in the driver’s seat outside Three Corners Market, Longview Road, early Tuesday afternoon. The man, whose name has not been released, went inside, purchased food and lost consciousness moments later, Chief Deputy Nikia Elliott of the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office said. No foul play is suspected but an autopsy was ordered by investigators. The man had been removed from the truck and taken from the scene by ambulance before the inspection began.
