Mrs. Mable Jean Brady, age 83, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Sevier Street First Baptist Church. Brittany Holman will be eulogist, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service Saturday at the church.
She was born May 18, 1938, in Bedford County, to the late William Cannon and Laura Mai Cortner. She was retired from Kiddie Care day care, and a faithful member of Sevier Street First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William Anthony Harris, a daughter, Laura “Tina” Greer, sisters, Barbara Ruth Bray and Johnnie Mae Perkins.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Holman and her husband “Boo Boo”, a brother, Henry Cortner, and his wife Connie; sisters, Letha Holbert, Brenda Cannon, Sherry Cannon, and Drena Simmons, and her husband “Bubbie”, and Charlotte; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
