Margaret Catherine Beacom Thomas, 85, of Wartrace died Sunday, September 5, 2021.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 10th, at Hollywood Cemetery in Wartrace. Rev. Laurie Raulston officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. at Hillcrest Funeral Home prior to service. Masks are recommended at all services.
She was a former school bus driver for Bedford County School System and a member of Normandy United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Timothy Arthur Beacom and Mary Elizabeth Willis Beacom; her husband, Robert Ervin Thomas; and four brothers, Harold Hill, Willard Beacom, Robert Beacom and John Beacom.
Margaret is survived by a daughter, Peggy Thomas Glassco (Danny); three grandchildren, Christen Farris (Jason), Daniel Glassco (Shelley), Nathan Glassco (Chesley); four great-grandchildren, Makayliah Jackson (Josh), Madelyn Farris, William Farris, Luke Solomon; and a great-great-granddaughter, Charlsie Jackson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Destiny Rescue or to Animal Rescue of choice.
