Trisha Luttrell has been found safe.
Searchers found 10-year-old Trisha, missing since Sunday, early this (Monday) afternoon hiding under the floor of a detached garage at a home near her U.S. 41A South residence, Sheriff Austin Swing said.
An ambulance was called to take Trisha to a hospital for a medical check, but Swing said she is not thought to be injured.
She had been missing for approximately 15-16 hours, Swing said.
It was fortunate that a regional training session for search dogs and their handlers was being held at the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, according to Swing.
The search for Trisha became a real-life training exercise as a large number of dogs and handlers were brought in to join dogs from Bedford County Emergency Management Agency, Rutherford and Williamson counties and Winchester.
