Two years ago, National Pen in Shelbyville announced a reduction in its workforce. Today, the company announced the creation of over 60 new positions at its Shelbyville facility.
The company stated this plus for Shelbyville is part of a major expansion designed to enhance its operations and better serve customers across the entire United States.
The new roles will span a range of manufacturing and fulfilment functions, supporting National Pen’s decision to broaden the activities conducted in Shelbyville. Supported by the acquisition of a second building in Blue Ribbon Parkway, these expanded capabilities will strengthen National Pen’s operational network in the U.S, enabling faster delivery times and an improved customer experience nationwide.
“Shelbyville is National Pen’s longest established operational site, and home to many of our longest tenured and most experienced team members. Although the past several years has been a period of much transition and change in Tennessee, 2026 will mark a new chapter in a story that spans almost six decades as we consolidate a range of operations domestically to offer the best possible product, service and delivery times to our U.S. customers” said National Pen CEO Peter Kelly. “I’d encourage local people who are
interested in starting or growing an exciting career with a long-established but growing organization to explore the open positions listed on the Pens.com website.”
Promotional products provider National Pen will celebrate 60 years in operation in Shelbyville next year. Today’s announcement reaffirms the company's commitment to its US Headquarters in Sharpie Way and the community in Shelbyville.
Recruitment for the new positions will begin immediately, with roles expected to be filled throughout early 2026. Vacancies will be posted as they become available on National Pen’s Careers website
