NON-RESIDENT NOTICE
JUANITA F. BURRUS, Plaintiff -vs- STEPHEN DALE BURRUS,
Defendant, formerly a resident of Grundy County, Tennessee, but
now residing outside the State of Tennessee or whose whereabouts
are unknown, Case No. 7003 in the Chancery Court of Grundy
County, Tennessee.
In this cause it appears from the complaint which is sworn to
that the defendant, is a non-resident of the State of Tennessee, so
that the ordinary process of law cannot be served upon STEPHEN
DALE BURRUS.
It is, therefore, ORDERED that this notice be published for
four (4) consecutive weeks in the Shelbyville Times Gazette, a
newspaper published in Shelbyville, Tennessee, requiring the said
defendant STEPHEN DALE BURRUS, to serve their answer upon
Plaintiff’s attorney, Russell L. Leonard, 1016 West Main Street,
Suite 3, Monteagle, TN 37356 within thirty (30) days after April 3,
2025. Upon the defendant failing to do so, the same will be taken
as confessed and Judgment by Default may be taken against said
Defendant for the relief demanded in the Petition and the cause
set for hearing ex-parte.
