Shelbyville police say they have determined the identity of a suspect who allegedly intentionally drove his pickup into the side of another vehicle earlier this week.
Photos of two suspects were posted on the department’s Facebook page asking for the public’s help in identification.
The suspects and victim were both in Walmart shortly before the incident on North Main Street, Detective Nathan Everhart said.
Video from the store helped police identify the suspect as Kenneth David Hurt, Everhart said. Hurt is in his early 30s and lives on Deery Street.
Warrants have been filed charging Hurt with two counts of aggravated assault in what Everhart termed a “road rage” incident.
Everhart said he went to Hurt’s residence Thursday in an attempt to serve the warrants but no one came to the door.
