Robert Bailey Cranch, age 84, of Shelbyville, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 3, 2024, at his home.
Funeral services were 1 PM Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Tim Gunnells officiated. Burial, with full military honors, followed at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation was from 11 AM – 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born, January 8, 1940, in Nashville, to the late Bailey and Bessie Neeley Cranch. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy and worked as a tax accountant for many years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Richard Cranch. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Delores Cranch, a daughter, Lori Cranch; a stepson, Sam Taylor, a stepdaughter, Karrie Francis; step grandchildren, Justin Richardson, Logan Painter, Joe Taylor, and Tygr Taylor; step great-grandchildren, Faith Richardson, Josie Taylor, and Channing Painter; nieces, Dianna Maxwell, Mirium Maxwell, and Allison White; and a cousin, Sonny Cranch.
Donations may be made to Aveanna Hospice, The Alzheimer’s Association, or the Southside Church of Christ Summer Mission Fund.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
