Robert Houston “PePaw” Cook, 73, of Shelbyville died Thursday, April 14, 2022.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 18, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Buffy Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Parsons Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m.
He was a native of Shelbyville; retired employee of Coats Company, Lavergne, Tenn; a member of the Lavergne UAW; a veteran of the U.S. Marines (Vietnam) War and a retired member of the Tennessee National Guard. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He loved fishing and wood working.
Robert was the son of the late Leonard H. and Nannie Ruth Cook.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Kay Tribble Cook; children, Amanda Cook Brown, Jason Robert (Kaitlin) Cook, Buffy Jay (Vicky) Cook;grandchildren, Beccah Brown (Brandon Jones), Caleb Campbell, Alyssa Brown, Kayla (Kristian) Cabarcas, Miranda Cook (Kenneth Cochran), Will Coley, Matthew Cook; great-grandchildren, Allison Cabarcas, Caden Cabarcas, Jackson Cabarcas, Nova Jones and special friends Andy (Natasha) Brown.
