Linda Brown, owner of Heritage Jewelers, said Tuesday during Shelbyville Woman's Club's spring fashion show at Riverbend Country Club that the latest and greatest jewel, the hit of recent market, is the salt-and-pepper diamond.

Model Lindsay Williams sported pieces of this collection from Heritage Jewelers, one of the hosts of the recent SWC fashion show.

"It's sort of a grayish tone . . . set in rose-gold," said Heritage owner and co-host Linda Brown. "All of the earrings and necklaces have halos. We've also put the necklace inside of just a round circle. A lot of you may have diamond circles already and it looks really pretty to put something inside of it."

So what do we wear with all those animal prints, modeled by J Jordan Boutique, that are still so very popular this spring?

Brown has the solution.

She selected for model Rylei Hale, who wore a chic animal print ensemble, a smoky topaz ring in rose-gold and a bracelet which was smoky topaz and accented with pearls.

"She's also wearing stacked bands. These bands could be used as wedding bands or you could stack them. She has on a rose-gold, yellow-gold and white-gold together, stacked."

Brown said Hale's tiny, little necklace is very popular with tiny diamonds, which seem to be barely there.

Abi Rippy's lace dress, fashioned over a tan lining, was accented with Heritage's Rhodolite garnet and chocolate diamond pendant. Her "chocolate swirl" ring from Heritage had to be the show-stopper and Brown agreed.

"We call it our chocolate swirl ring. We say it's just delicious, because it just looks like a swirl."
